we don't even know what the update is yet. It might be something you feel is unnecessary for more satisfaction than you're already getting. Bottom line though, it's an update. Most products get updated and you can't upgrade what you already own. I think we are fortunate to be able to update our existing Ithakas if we want to.

Update are less expensive then V2 in the end,and sometimes more hard and trickier to be done,
If you want to do it good and keep the same platform.
This not always can be done,without compromise.
Remember the clearos they changed drip tip and screws and there you go V2 or V3
In the end it vaped the same,all V's were a like.

yup this is not an update but an upgrade guys. Ithaka doesnt need an update to work well like other manufacturers do for their devices. This upgrade is for people that like to work Ithaka in a different way. Also this upgrade will not vape better, it will work just different.
Ithaka users will pay for the upgrade as new users will have to pay too. New users have to buy Ithaka first and then buy the upgrade

The Ithaka upgrade will replace the steel exterior with mimetic polyalloy. You can then use the included remote control to change the diameter of the Ithaka to match the mod's diameter.

It will be ready in about 1 month or less Stanley. It depends on how I will like the new system. If I dont like it then I will not make it. But at least until now it is exactly how I like it. I miss only 2-3 pieces to complete my first sample
i vaping now 2 years it have been a long travel i stopt and using pyros i start again vaping all the time i read about gg than 3 mohnts ago i buy ihtika and from today i have only gg i (like ihtika iatty is very nice love it but the best is ody imeo this is your masterpeace and i looking forward to meet new penelope) but my travel is over i am home now gghome

My very first coil finally quit on me. The Ithaka is taking a break while I wait for more wire to come in the mail. I'm very sad, going back to a 510 atty while waiting is so bad. I need more flavor!! Lol
No official announcement ~ Imeo just mentioned that he has in the works some sort of update for Ithaka. The what & when is the question. Imeo ~ pweeze feed us some more info regarding Ithaka update
