would the ithaka fit on a nickel ggts? with or without the 510 adapter ? thx guys, might be able to get my hands on nickel one, what do u guys think, I already own a just gg mod

The Nickel is a piece of GG history which will never be made again. If you can get your hands on one go for it. Just make sure it's in good condition with no chips on the Nickel coating
My real question is, since I already have a just gg which I love, is it really worth buying the nickel ggts over the current ggts? the price difference is like buying 2 ggts or even buying one newer ggts and some other mod over the price of buying one nickel ggts. I know its beautiful mod, thats the dilemma for me.
Collectors buy Nickels, if you're looking for a better mod than the JustGG the short answer is NO. However a Nickel is a work of art, if you appreciate that you'll buy one if not then it's not for you
Has anyone tried Ekowool with the cotton center in their Ithaka? I have been using standard Ekowool (3mm) in mine but have been experiencing poor wicking. I suspect the cotton center variety will help alleviate such.
Also, I tend to think that another reason for the poor wicking is that 3mm diameter Ekowool is simply to thick (to say the 3mm fits "snugly" in the channels of the ceramic housing would be an understatement).
Perhaps 2mm or 2.5mm Cotton Centered Ekowool would be ideal?

I've used Ekowool back when I started building months ago and found it to be a poor material alone. If you can get cotton threaded through it :O, it would probably be better. But then again, I've gotten hooked on cotton by itself.

ecowool is not a good wicking material pm. Better use a needle with cotton and wrap the coil around it. Then remove needle

i have a complaint from my dear old Ithaka 1.0. He or she is complaining that nobody cares abou her anymore.
First Imeo gave her a twin with a different rebuildable and after that he came up with her new 2 nd stepmother penelope.
now everyone is talking about everything, exept him/her.

never ever Itshak- you sure have a nice cave - but she would not like to be one of 10 or more !!!
here she has a good home and she is one of her kind, her brothers and sisters here look all different , lol....
