As I have said before, designs are ready Tark. I just have to find the time to make the pieces. I still feel strange that I have to make something that I dont agree with, but anyway
Imeo, any updates about the mesh setup for Ithaka? You said you'll have some kind of upgrades or something..

IMEO!!!!
Do you enjoy seeing us all anxious and under stress? We've waited 3 long months for Ithaka and soon we will be faced with the same situation again when it's Proteus's turn  lol :D starting to dislike you now :-(

Hey River :toast: how are you doing my friend? I know stress my friend, I waited 1 year just to get hold of a Odysseus lol and it was so worth the wait :)

Did you have any problems with the penny on a provari? I have two and for some reason on both my provari minis, it doesn't work, just says OP but seems to work perfectly on my GGTS. I've tried everything and it still don't work. Thanks again, have you even used the penny as it looks immaculate :)

Doing well, thanks Raju :). Penny works great on the Provari but you will need to screw the rebuildable part into the base a little more so the center pin sticks out from the 510 threads. Your penny isn't making contact, that's why it's not working.

Hmmmm, thanks Mike, I will try again. What I did was to screw the base first on the provari then inserting the rebuildable part so as to make contact but still the same. Maybe your right and I haven't screw it far enough.

Thanks buddy

I had an issue with my provari once. It was actually working with most of my atty's but not all. I lightly scraped the center post of the Pro a little then cleaned it with a q-tip and 91% Isopropyl alcohol. Then I repeated the process one more time to get it shiny new looking and now it works perfect with everything again. It didnt even look bad in the first place but after I was done you could definitely see the difference. That said I think the more likely thing is that you just need to screw the rebuild-able in a little farther. Either way the cleaning process is something you should do on the provari pretty regularly anyhow if you dont already.

I've tried on a brand new provari but I think you guys are right, I should screw it in a bit more. I will let you guys know.

Thanks

If you think waiting is stressful, then I'm guessing you never had to deal with trying to make a GG purchase before Imeo implemented the pre-order system ( now THAT was stressful!!). This is a walk in the park comparatively speaking. :)

Oh don't I just agree with you. :)

hehehe - the days of losing sleep, waiting on computer for GG's to go up for sale - then everyone at once crashing COV site. Yes that was horrible to say the least.

For sure I will never do that again for any device.. Had enough of it.

Dear all , a very good day to everyone here ,
I got to say that Imeo sir truly is a sweetheart .
I have been vaping for 2.5 years now and have tried everything under the sun , It is my bad luck that i never got into the GG style atties / tanks .
I look forward to getting one of the Ithaka's , i have registered at Mr Bruce's site / clouds of vapor and hope that i will get a notification from them to buy .
I am sure that this will be a great device seeing how particular, precise and dedicated Imeo Sir is about his work .
I wish you all well and hope to have an Ithaka when they are up for sale .
Happy vaping and best wishes
warm regards
Sahil.

I dont blame him, there is so many fine tuning to genesis. So many individual wants and needs in order to make one that will satisfy everyone. Plus having to deal with "newbies" to the genesis builds. Not to put down "newbies", as I am relativly still what Id consider one.
Some like an airy draw, some stiffer etc. Some like large tanks, short top caps so many variables.

I think that if he wants to satisfy the genesis crowd he would have less headaches making a special ceramic head that adapts to ss mesh for people to buy as an upgrade or instead of the reg configuration for Ithaka.

If Imeo makes one just to give Genesis users something GG lovers something to buy, thats cool, but if he doesnt really enjoy using the atomizer it would be hard to know what Genesis users need.

But this is just my opinion as a non-genesis user. Im sure I could learn, but this "old dog" just doesnt want to learn a new trick.

I think genesis has its very strong positive sides. Once done right taste and TH is just perfect!

On the other hand no genious like Imeo has stepped on this field, yet. Dont get me wrong there are great modders of the field but with all the devotion, insight and experience Imeo has, he is the one who could revolutionize genesis like he did with silica and vaping in general.

The key points to have perfect genesis (as I see):
- getting rid of oxidizing - easy thing if the wick whole, the center post in the tank and the bottom of the tank is insulated. Then just with pulsing the coil it oxydizes itself in 30 seconds,
- solving the air flow issue into the tank (leave one whole open and it will flood when transported, keep it closed and it will not wick),
- solving the issue of a variable air whole (I guess it would be easy with a ring over the whole where you can spin it to control the actual size),
- negative and center post close enough to wick to avoid hot spots,
- general wicking: spiral marks in the wick whole to help juice sucktion, short tank, wide enough wick whole to have thick wick,
- adjustable top chamber size - some people like bigger with cooler vape, others like small ones for more vapor and TH.

If someone could do these, it must be Imeo!
