Another build. 2 1.5ohm coils crossed method 2mm ekowool. Bishop's 2x2 o ring between nut and ceramic. No leaks no gurgle. Great vape. The wonderful thing about this is that there are so many ways to construct this atty with success. It's not a "this way only" device.

The new one is quite a bit smaller.

I see. The short nut will eliminate having to use the o ring. It will cover up the bottom holes in the ceramic. How do we get that nut?

I was able to find the shipping box and packing my Ithaka came in (digging through the trash)and sure enough stuck in the bottom was a small plastic bag with the new nut. Glad I was able to still get to it or it would have been gone forever. I didn't know it was included and it wasn't in the plastic bag with the atty and extras I ordered. Thanks COV for including it but would have been nice if it was put in with the atty or something so people like me wouldn't trash it on accident.

Now if COV would sell the ready wires my life would be much easier. I need to find somewhere that does.

I'm loving this Ithaka so far.

Thank the Gods I read this post. I just got my first Ithaka today (and first GG device!) and didn't even notice the tiny zip lock bag at the bottom. The box was sitting in my recyclables, and would have gone out by the weekend...

I picked up a Zapper in the classifieds, there are nights when I can build 10 wires with perfect welds in a row, and other nights where nothing will stick.

Nah, I think the voltage on my Zapper has good days and bad days is all. I'll try scrubbing them down with 99% Iso, see if that makes a difference, though.

Give the croc clips a quick rub with some fine wet and dry from time to time too..

Take a multi meter and set it to 200 DC volts, hook up the the leads to your zapper. Power it up and get a reading off of it, it should read 40 v to 41 v for good results. The fuser I'm using is testing at 41v and has pretty good results. If it doesn't want to tack a quick swipe of the nr/r wire on 1000 grit does miracle's.

Does anyone have a pic handy of this EXTRA NUT being used? I'd like to see this before i toy with it later tonight to install it. I'm getting gurgling and sometimes drawing in juice.

Also, I get a really tite draw with the air control wide open. It seems like a vacuum effect that gets tighter as i continue to inhale. or maybe my lungs just get more tired as I keep trying to take hits from it

I would like this post to be answered, I am going through the same EXACT issues, mainly the tight draw.
