I have the 1.5mm ekowool in mine right now. Also found the thinner silica sleeves worked great as well. Think it's the xs 116 at kidney puncher. Not sure what the difference is between the hollow ekowool and the "silica sleeves". Look the same to me.

Ekowool and Nextel xs 116 is completely different. The short answer - eko wool is a silica based weave that is a different chemical make up than silica. The true ekowool comes from the motherland Russia.
Nextel is a ceramic material mostly used to insulate electrical wire. It may wick like no other but the health risks outweigh the use in any of my vaping. Please do your homework. 3M will not sell it as a wicking material to anyone due to the risks. Big Tex Vape and others obtain it by not claiming it for our use. Hint, 3M could also make a killing on this if they thought it was safe.
I will forgo the use as i am pleased with the other unheathy choices. :)

2.0 eko for me or 3.0 silica doubled under coil unless using highlander coil.

I have quite a bit of Russian eko from the motherland in 3mm and would be happy to send a sample or two. It is hollow and measured from the inside diameter.
