Good question. I've got two Penelope v1s and love them, But the Odysseus kind of didn't do it for me. I really like the mellow Vape of the dualcoiled Ithaka. That said, I also own a Penny v3 and a kayfun, and said conversion Kit, and I prefere the kayfun-converted Odysseus to the original one and to the kayfun. I don't like to compare it to the Ithaka (for which I don't have the upgrade, but that's why I mentionned my penny v3 as I know and love the principle) because it just gives a different Vape I also like. The draw on the conversion kit is much airier then on the orginal Kay or Ody, which is why I like it and can give it a more brutal coil.
But I still use the Kayfun more on the road because it's less prone to leaking, more compact and has side-intake for air, so perfect for a minimal stealth 18350-mod.
In the end, I should probably shut my mouth as none of this is usefull information, me thinks...

If you love your pen v3, you will also love Ithaka. According to Imeo, Kayfun's core design is a copy of Ody/Ithaka.
Some of common issues with Kayfun
- tight draw. Ithaka has a huge draw and control it with AFC on GGTS/Just
- small juice channel can be easily blocked by wick. Ithaka has one of largest juice channel on the market
- if the coil gets too close to the deck, you can fry the plastic block insulator. Ithaka has no plastic on the deck
- you have to take the tank off the mod to refill which produces wear and tear on 510 thread. Ithaka is top fill. No need to dismount
- you need screw driver to refill. Ithaka top caps are thumb screwed
- if KFL+, center post isn't adjustable. (I had to grind the plastic ring to fit flush) Ithaka center post can be readjusted for flush mount

I am not bashing Kayfun. I actually love my Kayfun and think it is one of best atomizer on the market. Just that Ithaka is better. :D

I tried this today and it was AWESOME!
I initially thought I can unscrew the mouth piece all the way, but it gets stopped at 3/4 way up. No problem, unscrew the base upside down and within a few turn, bingo! they came apart. Looking down the tube and seeing the floating mouth piece and juice, it felt like I was looking at something I wasn't suppose to see. :D
Did a quick rinse and changed the wick and put everything back together. Less than a few minutes! done!

Thanks again all.

Great to hear.:)

I actualy run 4 tanks on a setup
Then renew it,wire and cotton.

As long as there is no over juice in atty chamber it vape great, and in the first shadow
Of a dry hit,it's mean that it's empty so I fill the tank, from above the way I like.
work perfact.

If it's become heavy I just close juice control and work it like so for few times and it's vape
Great again.

I change set up simply for change and not becouas it work less good.

We running 6 to 8 Ithaka and now also Ody's and Penny (in parallel me and my wife) 24/7 for a year more or less
(Before we had JGG pre orders) and it work and vape top performers no issue.

All GG design actualy do work like so,no issues.
I never had the same comfortableilty of use with any other designs
Even those that do work, were not so fun to work with for me. (not gonna mantiond names)

Quick question: What's the best strategy to increase capacity of the Ithaka?
An extension ring the size of the upper one would be nice, and that would not require another mouthpiece (I'm used to very short driptips). But the original one has different threading on top, so that wouldn't work. Any thoughts?

there are lots of options to make ithaka bigger, it depends on the parts you got- i prefer a second engraved ring in combination with a second window........

3 engraved Rings and Windows, but without upper tube.

2 engraved Rings and Windows, but without upper tube.

left and right one-> Ithaka with Odysseus Tank Extention , a reversed upper part and a window (clear and ss) on top
in the middle->2 engraved Rings and ss Windows, but without upper tube.

Thanks for all the Pics!
I'll go for the one extension Imeo recommended that does not require a telescopic mouthpiece. Somehow that mouthpiece brakes flavour for me (at least it did in the Pene v2).
What do you guys mean by "upper tube"?
Edit: I got it now, the upper tube is the top-most ring under the wide topcap.

I have a question regarding the update and the 510 connector. When I try to use the 510 connector, the pin does not come to the end of the 510 connector, even by unscrewing it. It is about 1-2mm to short before the screw falls out. I must be installing something incorrectly but cannot figure it out. Works fine with the collector tank. Any thoughts on my problem?

Thoughts appreciated.

Didn't it had an adjustable nut on the end of the center post?
To use Ithaka with 510 we need to open them to add lenght to the center post.
