For those who like microcoils and cotton, I found these pictures in a Greek forum.
Cheers :)

Well that's a way to do it....

But here is a simpler and very affective other way to run cotton on Ithaka ceramic.
Just Give it a try who knows you may like it.

My setup of choice on Ithaka V1:

Double cotton wick cut above channel
and SMG ready made wire 1.5 ohm, naild with extra wrap of the NR from each side.
Can be made the same with two paralel or twisted using the same SMG ready made wires,
For hotter 0.85/0.75 ohm.

The wire wrap is made the same as I post on Penny V2 thread but with two cotton wicks.

Hey Guys i need your help, because i can't find any solutions. I am running an ithaka with update. 1,5 ohms 0.32 kanthal on 2mm diameter with cotton. anyway the ithaka is leaking out of the base and is already flooding the collectors tank of my just gg. it isn't leaking from the center post, it comes definitely out around the center post. i think liquid is dropping from the cotton trough the 2 holes next to the positiv and negative pin. so do you have some ideas?

if it is leaking around the post, then it has to be that your o-ring is not sealing properly. Maybe you have the update screwed in too tight or too loose? Is the pin straight?

Hey River, the pin is straight. Maybe i have screwed it too tight, i will check this on evening.

Also when you put in the assembly back the o-ring down the post a little so it isn't up against the brad nut part. If you have extras you could try an extra o-ring there as well.

The o-ring sits flush on the nut. Guys two questions: When i seal the base with the o-ring this will not stop flooding the base right? It will only stop flooding my just gg? How is it on your ithaka? Has the base a little bit of liquid too or is it absolut clean?

Yes you are right the o-ring will not stop it from dripping juice into the bottom tank section of the Ithaka only from flooding into whatever it is sitting on to a point. Meaning with the o-ring in place properly if juice flooded so much it filled that little area and the coil housing all the way up to the air hole it could then start leaking down that. But that shouldn't happen unless you are having extreme flooding or maybe if it sits a really long time with a full tank.

I am guessing that if you are having flooding issues that it may be that you don't have enough wick material in the top channels of the housing. I would probably try a bit more wick there and see if you still get flooding. If so try to see if it floods with your juice control completely closed.

your cotton is only too thin if it does not fully block liquid at the top of the channels. My liquid is fairly thin, so I typically open liquid control a few turns to feed and then close it for a few vapes. For me, this method keeps the wick at an ideal saturation and gives me more control than I have if I just leave it open to feed.
It does sound like it's a feeding issue, so the best advice I can give is to experiment with your wick size as well as how loose or tight you roll your cotton. Obviously, liquid control settings will play a major roll too.

Well guys, the two cotton balls are wet. this means to me that my cotton wick is too thin right? it is very difficult to me to find the best amount of cotton. should i do a new wick with 3mm on it? at the moment i get after 4-5 inhales a dry one.

Juice inside this chamber isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is only bad if it is flooding out of the atomizer into whatever it is attached to. Or if there is so much juice your coil doesn't preform well. This area was meant to hold juice. As a matter of fact I put wick down into the housing to pick up this juice.

So I guess my question is can you explain the problem as completely as you can? Is it leaking from the atomizer? Or is it not wicking fast enough? Or is it because juice is in the atomizer's collector tank?

The problem is that i've made my wick too thin roll it very tight. therefore liquid is running from my tank trough the two holes on the deck into the base. at the end it gets from the flooded base into my mod. i will try too make my wick more fluffy and will use some cotton on the base too, just to be safe.
