You won't judge him, but you'll tell him what is right thing to do?

So, if you use only one atty it is normal that everybody do the same?

What if he uses GGTS+Ithaka at home but when he goes to work (and at work) it's to big to carry or for people to look at? So he needs something smaller, like GGS and Penny so it's more elegant solution for that surroundings.

Just one of possible scenarios. ;)

Two attys and two mods is preferable. Ideal, if you ask me (maybe a third atty as a spare or a trinket to play with). The guy mentioned having an ody, several iattys. Also, you can glean at all the equipment from his signature: Cobra, AC9, Phiniac tank, etc. Sorry, that's just overkill. But this is not the place. Sorry everybody. I won't :offtopic: anymore

And that's fine. I wouldn't mind stocking it. I find stock low at sellers....on a good day. Usually they are out of stock. So I have to buy 4-5 WHEN they are in or IF.
The demand out weighs the stock. So, of course I sometimes wonder how long different ceramics will be made. It's easy to say always, but if there is no stock, and only way is through preorder, that could make life difficult for some.

I remember when Penelope first come out. Everything was in such high demand, sellers were ALWAYS out of stock. I am NOT picking at anyone or pointing. I have several GGTS, ody, 7 iAtty, Penelope, etc. I built up a few ceramics for them. It took a while and even some down time for the devices.

dual channels for dual coil set up, hmmm, I assume that if one didnt want to make a dual coil setup that it will work with an empty channel. Im sure there wont be a concern of juice going up the empty channels? Just had to ask. If I wanted to make a single coil set up will I be able to pop the V2 ceramic in it? This sound interesting.

I think the ceramic should work. The one-piece setup might work, but you just might have to put some wick into the other channel so as to prevent the juice from dripping without actually making a separate coil. This is all, of course, just guesswork

On the topic of ceramics - if you do not crack it, then it should last a very long time imo. If it stains or you get some funky taste over time, a quick blast with a blow torch and it's good as new. I've had my penelope for just over 2 months and used the same flavour juice in it for around 6 weeks. Changed to a lighter flavour, had a small trace of the other flavour, blasted it with the blow torch and problem solved.

I don't see the point of having more than a couple of spares if you look after it.

As for the dual wick/channels, sounds pretty damn good to me regardless of how many ceramics are involved :)

I agree, to a point. I'm not sure if it was during a particular batch or what, but I went through 2 ceramics in one month. Now. It never came out of the housing, but yet cracked. And believe me, I was treating it like an egg. Again, could have been a batch.

With that said, my current ody ceramic has been in it for 6-8 weeks and (knock on wood) still growing strong.

Torching also will weaken it. If you change flavors and its a drastic change, it does seem to weaken it if done often enough. I have 6-8 flavors I love to enjoy. Main go to vapes, dessert vapes, weekend flavor change vapes. So I dedicate an atty to a flavor. Ceramic stays "seasoned". :)

Do you have another cleaning method that doesn't weaken ceramic?

Thanks!!

Edit: sorry, off topic. I'll Pm you Yankee.

New ceramic is a vodka bath overnight, then dry. Then quick torch. Change flavors? Usually just a vodka bath for a couple hours, quick hit with torch after dry. Point here is a quick 5 second torch.

When I first got into ceramic, I could stand the soapy taste. No matter how much we torched, still was soapy. Finally after lots of torch, taste was gone. Assembled atty, vaped. Week or so later went to rebuild, ceramic cracked with piece broken. That's why I said weaken.

Some say boil in milk. I tried that. Yeah, it works. But that's a lot of mess. You need a rolling boil from what I've experienced. Clean that up after.

When I first got my Penny I didn't torch the ceramic because I knew it would weaken it and replacement ceramics were scarcer than hens teeth. I had no soapy taste whatsoever. Vaped great, no funny taste at all. However after about a month of constant daily use, Bam! Unbelievably soapy taste just out of nowhere. I vaped about half a tank of soapiness and it just went away. Weird how it just showed up out of the blue.

Wow. Never heard of that one. Weird indeed.

A couple points , I have a few mods ,some nicer than others and some atty's going at the same time !!! all with differant flavors. I nomaly have 4 to 5 going at the same time. See it was first a get me off cigarettes and cigars thing , with Joytech 510 atomatic e-cigs , atomizers and cartriges. Now it turned into a hobbie that also saves my life as to smoking tobacco. It's a fun thing for me......

Another thing is Ithaka is going to cost me alot of money ! Here in the states it's $169.00 approx. I seen the video and did not see two coil setup. For me ,one coil to make in perfection is enough. You know how some people like old cars , maybe 57 chevys ? well I like the Odysseus V-2 !. But it seems at this point I'm being forced into Ithaka because Odys production stoped after just one run of the best to date rebuildable atomizer tank system in the world ! Like the 57 chevy , it don't have disc breaks or air bags or dual coils , but I realy love it like I do Ody. I hope there is a option not to have to use dual coils in Ithaka , just like the option to not use ss-mesh, like in a Genesis style atomizer if you don't want to. It seem the Ithaka keeps changing as time goes on. So it's not going to be like the one in the video ?

Anyway just me babbling on , Best Wishes , :vapor: :)

I already have too many ceramics in my house (Ody, penelope, Iatty) and I will have plenty of them for Ithaka Yankee:)
No. It's not the ceramic I made that comment for. If you have many GG then you have many types of ceramic yes? And sometimes, if you're down, there is no stock. I admit I bought 4 ody ceramics just in case. We have several iattys. More ceramic. Different style.

yes, it was the same but I changed it to make Ithaka dual coil Yankee
 But that would be a completely different style rebuildable. :)

One reason I was anxious for Ithaca is it sounded like same ceramic would be used as ody. So, one ceramic to keep in parts box for two rebuildables.
