Imeo I have few questions:

Why did you drop the idea of having 2 holes of air in center post?

Which dual coil setup you think its best x or parallel?

When using dual coil the x way, basic feeding cannot feed both coils at the same time if it is move to one channel. It will feed 2 wicks of the same coil right?

1. 2 and 4 holes didnt work well for a simple reason. The air couldnt come with the nessesary speed to hit the coil because it was whipsawed, so it had much less strenght

2. Both coils works exellent if you make them in the right way. And the right way is to close the gap between the 2 coils when they are parallel. When they are in X style you dont need to do anything.

3. You are absolutely right on this. So you just put basic feeding to both channels

I thought there was going to be two air holes too for dual coils.

I also made experiments with 4 holes River. But action didnt met the theory this time. So the trick of closing the gap between coils works like a charm

A brass drip tip would look nice with brass parts on a mod....

Ithaka cant have brass on her because its an atomizer and brass cant come in touch with liquid, except we talk for very small areas

Good advice Imeo. They are options when getting a Caravela. I personally never got one due to the discolouration that occurs and gunk that comes off when cleaning brass.

There is brass and there is lead free Naval brass. The Naval brass is more expensive because it is lead free and safe. It is also softer though.

Can always go with gold plated. Non-reactive...

yeah, i would think youd have to isolate them with a piece of wick in the middle or something. i dont think youd ever want the 2 coils touching, but maybe imeo can explain better.

Just because the two wires touch, doesnt mean they actually have a solid electrical connection. It would still travel along its own wire because its easier than jumping to the next wire...

Not necessarily. As was stated above, the current will follow the path of least resistance. Considering the ODY/Penny set ups can run even when poorly done, shows this (as compared with those crappy gennies). The more I tinker with various atomizers, the more I'm convinced that the GG atomizer line is dummy-proof and VERY efficient (current-wise).

Look at the genny coils where all the R wires are touching--they work.
