I'll certainly try, once replacement plastics are available. Certainly don't want to risk cracking / etching the only window..
Are replacement plastics due around the same time as ceramics?

Then better wait to see if the plastic of Ithaka can handle any kind of juice and we deside later, ok Vapor?

Imeo,

Picked up my ithaka over the weekend and am very impressed with the overall quality of the entire build. I have been using a Penelope since they came out and for the most part it is all I use.

I am still confused about the "juice holes" in the bottom of the ceramic holder. Should those be left opened or turned until they are blocked off? I have watched your video but still couldn't quite understand what purpose they serve. I am using the ithaka on a pro-vari at the moment.

I'm on my first build and I tightened it until they were open but I seem to get some flooding when I fill it (which is to be expected). Just not sure what to do.

"nice and smooth"? "everybody"? you're seriously stating that hiding Ithaka to everyone but a few "elects" is nice and smooth? =:-0

funny: what I call, instead, "nice and smooth" and "everybody" is... buying from esmokeguru (as I did) in a few minutes, without the faintest glitch and above everything else... with no need of any "secret society" membership!

happy role-gaming, italian mates :p

I read only now your disappointment, I think you are using inappropriate words, I do not understand why...
Bitfumo in Italy has managed sales of ithaka flawlessly, 130 people who have booked are met 100%
if you wanted to buy it using alternative methods, it's your problem!
I think you just want to try to put a bad light on the shop and the forum of reference, where we have made the list for pre-orders.
What's your forum in Italy?

Apart from this sad event, I want to congratulate with bitfumo, for how he handled the sale,
and Imeo :hubba: for this Ithaka, that's a very jewel:
aesthetically wanderfull, and technically, as performance, as to the levels of UFS

we had three months to join the list and more Ithakas will be available to those who haven't shown interest in the next few days as soon as he finishes shipping to those who reserved their place. It was no secret society RPG :?:

Steve i suggest you to try a few tanks with those gap holes completely closed and tweak the feeding in the usual way just like the Ody.
Just in case you are prone to get dry hits i would slighty open the basic feeding, only to feed two wicks at first or four if you are not completely satisfied.
Basic feeding is just an added option that gives us another opportunity to set our perfect vape but it's not compulsory to use it.

your forum in Italy?

... see what I was meaning? I'm in no forum (but I love this one)

I heard about Ithaka last week, so came here and read almost all of this thread then I went to GG website, looked for resellers and, as I'm in Italy, proceeded to Bitfumo to buy Ithaka but... nothing: not even mentioned as out of stock or anything else. Ithaka just doesn't exhist there! =:-0
So I moved to eSmokeGuru and in a few clicks bought one Ithaka

You see, now, how simple and pleasant life can be? ;-)

cheers

Nothing yet grab. I will let you know when it will comes here. Thank you very much for sending me the pluid to test on Ithaka. I hope that Ithaka will handle this liquid.
Hi Imeo, did your package arrive? I will take a steel window also as I'm prone to break things.

Ithaka doesnt flood at all when you refill it compt. Just screw the small cap after the big cap.
If you have flooding while vaping, put the nut inside ceramic in a position that leaves the holes of the ceramic open, so liquid will not go to the center post and flood Ithaka, but it will go down to the base from where it will feed the wick again. Thats why the wick has to be cut up to the o-ring of the center post.
I am very glad that you like Ithaka and be sure that very soon you will handle it too easy without any issues at all:)

I understand your point but Vassilis is a world seller and has Ithakas in the thousands, Gino being the italian reseller has only a few hundreds so it's more easy for esmoke-guru to put on sale Ithakas or every other GG product that wasn't preordered first.
The good thing is you managed to get yours and now happy vaping!! :D

Ok, then we can make them, independently the strength of Ithaka's clear window Ry. I will tell machine shop to make some of them:)

i would definitely buy a metal window to change in and out with the clear window. i would hate to leave it on my lap and get out of my car and drop it and damage clear window. clear window for home, and metal for on the go

oh yeah quick question. i missed the december preorders with cov but was able to purchase ithaka a few weeks ago from cov as i received an email from them saying ithaka has arrived. just wanted to know is that still considered a preorder? or secondary preorder? or is that for the next batch of ithakas? the reason i ask is i see many folks in the states now getting tracking numbers and i just wanna make sure i get one this run. i have already paid for it with cov so i would assume i should be getting one this go around, maybe its just the anticipation making me paranoid

It was the second preorder, just before december Ithakas arrived. Imeo sent extras for the people that didn't ordered on the december preorder.

You should receive your shipping notification on these days, first Bruce shipped the december preorders and now he is shipping the ones from the second mini preorder -extras- (in which your Ithaka is). :)

You mean metal window instead of clear window Vapor? That way you will lose the ability to see if your basic feeding is open and how much open.:)
I didnt make a scedule for metal windows but its very easy to include this item to production line. Maybe I can make 100-200 of them

Imeo I think 100-200 stainless steel "windows" would not be enough, I plan to use my Ithaka with its clear window, but I for sure will buy the stainless steel one that hopefully I won't use, but it will make me feel good knowing that I have an unbreakable one, just in case.

Fore sure, if you make ss windows for Ithaka, almost every Ithaka owner will want one.

Maybe a better number would be 2000 - 3000 :)
