Thanks. I'm running a sigle coil around two wicks right now at 1.6 ohms on a 3.7 14350. Wondering if I went Dual coil X config if I would get more vapor? I have feed control open to both ceramic channels.
Also, I forget the procedure for making vapor hotter or colder.

Thanks to all,

Chris
It is possible to create more vapor, flavor, TH, etc.. But, typically by enjoying one will sacrifice the others. Imo 1.5/1.6 is a great single coil set up. I think it is the best of all worlds.

But...with Imeos blessing I would encourage you to visit Bish on his thread. Imeo and Bish both can help with specific issues and questions.
GL and see you there.

blackwater with dual coil you will have more vapor sure , but dont forget to check imeos video again if you are not sure how to...
if you want hotter or colder vapor you have to move up/down the basic feeding nut , if you move it up , you will have colder vapor . Like this example photo.

Hey Imeo,

(Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere.) Would you consider making the Odysseus tank short mode available during the Ithaka preorder round 2? Since the threads are interchangeable, it allows for a lot of options on tank configuration to have that longer piece.

I'm actually trying to piece together a mid-mode ody, but since there are potential benefits to all Ithaka users, I thought I'd suggest it. Presumably, you don't want to have to engrave (and thus, give serial numbers to) the Ithaka tank base, and the Ody one will fit on there just fine in place of the bottom two pieces of the Ithaka tank.

Imeo tested and said it broke down the plastic in about four hours.

I know it's comparing apples to orangutans, as what interacts with plastic should have nothing to do with what interacts with humans, but I can't help but wonder about the effects of vaping something that can dissolve plastic. :)

Remember--vaping liquids uses the weight of a changed fluid. It is all about molecular bonds being broken by temperature and vacuum. Most flavor oils change form during this process--even at the most corrosive, your lungs do not receive the dose of acidity that the plastic tank sits in.

Not that I use any of these juices, but there are variables that make plastic-cracking juices fairly safe to inhale.

I'm currently experimenting with vitamin additives to my juices (niacin/b-series complexes) that are inhaleble <sp. Think of asthma inhalers: they deliver medication through liquids...alcohol/caffeine/nicotine are used the same way.

fright, I tried to put a needle between big and small cap of Ithaka and it goes inside very easy. I didnt put it vertical but diagonally and it had too much room there. I also made a sample of a mouthpiece with 2 cuts but the way I put needle, those cuts didnt help me more.

I discovered the syringe I was using had a bend in it which was causing issues. It can still be a little fiddly when filling with a regulat bottle though. I am not sure this warrents a design change I was just curious what your and everyone else's thoughts were.

One day when I can bear to put my ithaka down for long enough to do it I might just grind down one side of the lip just to see if the juice will flow past it easier.

Body of Ody is a big Ithaka's upper body erich. And my plans are to make a lot of upper bodies so you will be able to make Ithaka as long as you want because of the telescopic mouthpiece that I am planning to make for her

fright I am having problems with the small top cap too. I am not using a syringe but it seems dropping drops into Penelope was easier. With Ithaka I am not able to do it.

I found a solution that works for me. I remove both caps and fill with the big cap off. Then I put the bit cap on and leave small off and top it off and put on small cap. It works for me for now till I modify my mouthpiece.

ok fright, modify it and tell me if it works ok for you. Then I will see what I will do:)

Ok I took your advice. I took my dremel and a diamond bit. I made 4 small grooves. I will likely work on it a bit more tomorrow to widen but initial testing is good. I filled it and emptied it 4 times with no issues.
Here is a quick picture.

It isn't pretty but it does the trick.

One question fright. If you put the syringe all the way down inside Ithaka until it meets the mouthpiece, then you have to bend it a little because the fat part of the syringe is not as thin as its needle so it hits the outside of the mouthpiece. But if you dont put syrigne all the way down to the tube, Ithaka gets refilled very easy. So is there a reason to put syrigne all the way down until it meets the mouthpiece?

Sorry if this has been answered.. I'm just curious about the basic/automatic feeder slots on the ring around the rebuildable part... How does it work, does it feed liquid to the wick when you inhale (using negative/vacuum pressure) or is there a chance it can flood if this is turned on and you don't vape it for a while (overnight)?
I use 100% VG and on Odysseus I usually have to turn my mouthpiece about 2-3 full turns (720-1080 degrees) to get good juice flow.. On Ody I typically use 2.5mm wick.. I keep seeing people using 1.5mm wicks on Ithaka for dual coil so I'm not sure if I should try that or 2.5mm dual with 100% VG, and was a little unsure about the basic feed slots. I don't mind turning the mouthpiece.

Thanks guys!
