well done vapor, thanks buddy:)
Another Ithaka has landed. Very nice indeed.
Quick and painless set-up and it already tastes great.
I absolutely love that you can change quickly between GG connection and 510 now, and that the Ody GG base threads right into the Ithaka 510.

Hey guys,
Take a look at this: first, we make an X coil and then we put two parallel coils on top of the X coil:

I wonder how its gonna be setting up like that....gotta try it...what is the resistance on these?

You could go so far as making this 4 wicks using an (X + =) 36 awg R wire at 4 ohms x 4 wicks should give you 1 ohm, if you can manage all those NR wires. Getting that much wick in the channels might be easier with some modded ceramics, or just clipping off at the top of the ceramic. With that many wires in the channel some wick is a good idea for insulation on the + side at least.

Oh man you have beat me to it. I have the coils ready and wanted to try it. But my current Dual Coil Setup is too good to dismantle :D:D

Ok, I have a stupid question, and I'm half asleep, but for some reason I just thought "whoa.. wait a minute..."
When using dual coils.. is the FINAL ohm rating half of the TOTAL of both coils?

I've been making 2x 2ohm coils expecting 1ohm.. but am I really getting 2ohm because the final total is 4ohm?

When doing dual coils in parallel, the final resistance will be half of one of your coils.

So with two 2.0 ohm coils the final resistance will be 1.0 ohm.
