So Cali
I'm having a really big problem that came out of nowhere:

My beloved Ithaka is leaking from the o-ring that holds down the positive wires. I've tried every possible assembly technique and nothing has worked. NOTE, this is not from the center pin but the o-ring that is supposed to seal the center pin.

I'm at a loss...the o-ring is in perfect condition, and it looks to be pressed nicely against the housing.

HALP! This has me perplexed like none other!

I kept getting flooding as well...mine was the Center pin always loosing up from the ceramic. I was always changing from GGTS to CHi. Now i make sure ...with pliers that the rebuidable portion is tight as hell...No more flooding.

Is the post centered?
Could the o-ring be split but only visible when compressed?

I inspected the o-ring under a magifying glass and it is fine--I just popped another one on from my Ody and it seems to be working (now running 2).

Going to buy some back-ups from Ace tomorrow JIC.

Great news astar my friend:)

The small nut that came with your order is a replacement part for the existing nut inside ceramic , in case you notice a noise while vaping, so you just put the new bolt inside ceramic. If you dont experience any noise then just leave Ithaka as it is:)
 Got my Ithaka today,Thankyou Imeo & Vassilis.
Not only looks beautiful, but also a work of art.
came with wick wire & a threaded part...not sure where that part fits ?
Only GGTS, oddysseus & penelope to go till i have the set, then i will feel very proud to be part of the GG community.
Kind Regards
Andrew

Thank you very much for your nice words George and I am really happy that you like Ithaka. As for your gurgling in first place, you just need to learn Ithaka a little more and you will be more happy with dual coils :)
Got my Ithaka today!
Many thanks to Vasilis from e-smokeguru for an excellent and super-fast service.

Tried a couple of dual coil X configs in the beginning with 3mm wick @ 1.3 ohms total. Got gurgling, not much vapour or throat hit at all, flavour was ok. No matter the Wattage. I usually vape at 7.5W, tried up to 11W no change.

Then I tried the supplied wire which is 1.6 ohms with 3mm wick in single-coil X config and...I couldn't believe it! My juice has never tasted like that! Massive vapour, amazing taste, excellent throat hit, brilliant overall!
Still getting some gurgling and flooding, but that could be the base feeding which is all the way open (mouthpiece all the way closed). Some playing round in the next setup and that will be taken care of.

I know I must have been doing something wrong with the dual coil setup, I'll experiment with it a bit more as well.

If during my smoking days I would say, let me enjoy some nice single malt and smoke a cigar, now it is single malt and Ithaka all the way!

I also got that small threaded part as well, not sure where it goes.

Overall a big congats to Imeo for this!

Found my mistake for the flooding and gurgling issue. Besides making sure now that I tighten everything very good, I cut my wicks so that no strands are protruding below the black o-ring.
With my previous setup, some strands were a bit longer than the o-ring and were getting trapped between the o-ring and the base, breaking the seal, so juice from the collector tank was escaping to the 510 base, hence I was getting flooding and gurgling.
All good now, perfect vape!

Ithaka arrived today and set it up this evening with the wick and wire it comes with, single coil dual wick @ 1.8 ohm. It's vaping excellently and very very happy with it, thanks Imeo and esmoke-guru.
It looks damn good too.
