I asked a few Reonauts if they would be interested in viewing some of the different woods that end up being our REO's.

All said that they thought it was a good idea.

So, I have put together an album of pictures of wood. These are close-up pics that show color, patterns, and grain.

With the upcoming sale of wood REO's, I am hoping this gives you a chance to view and pick out your favorite woods.

All of these pictures are parts of REO's and most have a poly coat finish.

The pictures are views of my personal REO's instead of stock photos.

Woods will vary, there may be color, grain, and pattern differences. If you have or buy a wood REO it will not be entirely the same.

I hope you enjoy these pictures!

Oh, is this where we place out orders? Sweet!!
Alright, I would LOVE to get my hands on a Blue Mahoe woodvil if Robert happened to actually get his hands on some of that to work with. Seriously I will bite, claw, and eye-gouge for the chance to own one of those:

If that's just not possible, I will happily settle for a Pale Moon Ebony (aka black & white ebony):

Wow Karen that is great If I can remember what some of the wood I have in the shop is I can just call you :)

I learned it all from YOU Robert!

I knew nothing about woods till I started buying Woodvils. Just always looked at those pages with pics on reosmods and began to recognize the different woods. Have had to ask you more than once a wood type.

It did surprise me how many different types of wood I have. And there are more types that you have used that I have not YET captured! ;)

I'm wondering what types of wood we'll have to choose from this go 'round???
Cocobolo wood be sweeeeeet!!!!

From seeing all the wood runs since March 2011 I have noticed a few woods that are always present.

Cocobolo
Zebra
Ebony
Curly Oak
Purpleheart
Walnut
Jatoba - Brazilian Cherry
Padauk
Curly Maple

Robert has always produced some with "new" types of wood. These might be in just one run or a couple runs.

The last run of Woodvils and VV Woodvils gave us some wonderful additions of exotic woods.

It is exciting to watch the wood REO's transform through pictures that are posted. And for me the excitement builds as I see colors, grains, and patterns that are not familiar.
