Hello all,
I have been very happy to participate with this forum. All of you have been great and I will be checking in occasionally. My company I drive for has implemented a non smoking policy, I also have to quit vaping. The company has asked me to stop since it would not be fair for me to vape, since others cannot smoke. I don't agree but, I love my job, so I have to do, what I have to do.

I cannot find an area for this kind of thing, but here it goes. I have a package at home with, 12 901 atomizers and 8 901 batteries. They are generic from vaporguys.com. I don't want to throw them away since the package has never been opened. I don't want to use this thread to sell them, so if you are interested in this package, please PM me. If I take a few hours to reply, it is because I am driving, so be patient.

Once again, thanks all for everything, and keep fighting the good fight, I know I will.;)

It does suck, but yes my truck is home, I am away from home for a month or so at a time. I work for a big company and our other drivers love to rat. The company has an award program for turning in policy breakers. Trust me it does suck, but there is no point in the equipment rotting in my truck hoping they will change there mind. so I would love to for someone to be able to use them. If things change in the future, I will probably vape again.

Trucker Sean, I think if you were to contact management with a formal letter using a lot of the information found on this forum, you would be quite surprised at the response you would get. If I were you I wouldn't continue to sneak it on the truck if you are going to get ratted out, but I also wouldn't give up so easily as one simple letter could be the solution.

Be honest, I love my company, so I will not use their name. If you apply one day, you'll know who they are. Don't get me wrong I love to vape, I still have 2 atty's and 4 batt's with me with liquid, so I will become a closet vapeor. But my time I have to vape will not be a lot, so it will be like smoking a fine cigar. But due to this rapid cut back, I don't need the massive amount of equipment I bought. As for what you do in your own time is up to you, I agree, but anytime I spend in this little box is not my time. My time is only about 3 days of a month. But why complain, thats why I make the big bucks :) A couple years back I worked for another local company that is pretty big on the west coast, they told all of us that you could not use any form of tobacco, even on your time off or you would be fired. Turns out it was because they were getting a massive discount on health insurance and if an employee was found using tobacco, the company would lose their discount.

Sounds like you need to print out one of the variants of 'business cards' with facts on vaping on it, hand it out to all the smokers, and HR, then mention one word 'lawyer.' Seriously. :-(

I appreciate everyones support, I am keeping them up to date with everything. I think eventually they will see the light, but it might take a while. I am not going back to tobacco, I don't think I could, after six months analog free, I cannot even stand the smell. I don't wanna throw a fit about, I figure the more drivers i can get drivers on them, it might work. I know that I am not the only driver who vapes with the company so we'll se how it goes.

What, are there spy cameras in the truck? Who is going to have any clue that you vape in the truck at all? How hard is it to put it away when you're in sight of another driver? Are they testing you for nicotine?

Lame, lame, lame. A policy that has no way of being policed and has no impact on anyone is not a policy that needs to be followed. If other drivers are already vaping, I can guarantee you they still do it in their trucks.
