I'm not proud of this, but I broke down and had a cig this morning (been months since I quit, but still "slip" once in a while)
The next door neighbor came by (she knows I vape) and there I am smoking. She said " just don't vape... it's very dangerous!" It almost killed me... and she didn't seen concerned at all that I was smoking (I think her husband used to smoke and had heart issues... he passed away) I made one of my "bad jokes"... said "it will drive you to smoking again" She didn't even get it. It's called "social engineering" and is very powerful (at least to the "sheeple") We have all discussed this. Your average person doesn't read or listen to the whole story, just knows "vaping is dangerous!" I give up... just can't get through to some people

I gave up trying to deal with the Brain Dead some time ago - when they bump their gums and offer unsolicited comments, I just say "Aye right, you do it your way - Oh BTW, I AM70, but you look it ... so who'se got this kinda right?" and pass on. As it says at the Zoo - "Don't feed the monkeys!"

I have had a few people say that to me lately. And I ask them why and all they can do is recite the recent issues from the media. I tell them it is all about black market *** products and I don't do that stuff. But they insist that it will "kill me."

Once again I ask how and they don't have an answer other than the new reports. I then tell them to "educate themselves" before they speak to me again about it.

I had a cigarillo sometime in 2018 here. My vape hadn't been charged and I was desperate. It wasn't good at all. It was like trying to get a decent inhale was impossible. Not like a Newport. At home I have at least 1 bag of menthol tobacco and rolling papers. I wish I were there right now.

Before I got put in this place I had a cigarette occasionally. It's hard to believe because I love vaping but I had terrible cravings for a cigarette at times. Other than that cigarillo it had been about two years since I'd had a cigarette. So I don't know. If I start smoking again my health will get bad fast. But vaping is really hard to do here. I can never clean my tank because I'm not allowed to and they don't know how. I get problems with the tank, and batteries, and sometimes I don't get to solve an issue, just buy a new Nautilus tank. Etc. They have claimed they can't find my COPD inhaler this whole past week and I can feel myself getting weaker. I'm incredibly ...... off. My life really doesn't need to be harder. I'm still tweeting to Trump. It's hard to think of catchy tweets about vaping.

It really is a shame that the media do not inform us properly about what is actually causing the lung problems. After vaping for 7 years my hubby questioned me about the latest news. I told him my take, that it was NOT nicotine they were vaping. And I politely asked him to check out further what was causing all the problems. He came back later and said that since I make my own juice I should be fine. He then said he had learned not to rush to judgement. I know what I make with three or four(flavoring) ingredients, so I am not worried about my health. I am however, worried about the removal of ALL our products from the shelf. I am considering stocking up with a gallon of nic, it would last me about 7 years when stored in the freezer. By then, we should have some resolution to the current frenzy of the press and government.

Successfully got an intern at my work to quit smoking and vape only, she vaped the Juul for the summer, and then quit. So I have that going for me.

But our receptionist... she was supposed to quit smoking before her grandbaby was born. She didn't. I talked her into going for the same two step approach the intern did and her daughter that wanted her to quit cigs in the first place convinced her to give up the vape. Because "it's dangerous."

We'll see what happens, I wish her the best in her quit attempts but I sort of feel like I failed in some regards. We've had lengthy discussions about vaping and the news.

Nina is a hottie (armpits and all) I go to Yosemite Nat Park a lot and many europe tourists there... you get used to hairy legs and armpits.
Dougie, don't know where that came from, but for the record all I can say is "guns don't kill people, people kill people"

I was more into Kim Wilde. She had that whole strung out on heroine look going on. Oddly I didn't catch on to what Joan Jett was saying in Crimson and Clover because I had the hots for her too. Belinda was the hottest though...
