I am new to the Phoenix, just got some in today. I am having trouble getting good flavor with a thicker juice. 60% VG, but it is thick. Do I need to keep at the ce3 to get the flavor going or is this the way it is? Thanks for your help.

I have run up to 100% thinned VG in mine with out any major issue. Two I had to dilute with a drop of distilled water but most work fine. Usually a primer squeeze and letting it sit a minute gets it going. If not you may have to dilute a touch and also keep the voltage on the low side due to slower wicking.
What are you acustomed to vaping prior to your first experience with the Phoenix's?
I have found some juices do need a tad bit of "breaking in" to reach max flavor.
As far as thick juice goes, one of my phoenix's is kept full of Bobba's...arguably the thickest out there, and it vapes fine with no thinning or dry hits. Like Wally said, give it a gentle squeeze to get it primed. Another trick I do often is to take it apart, and drip a few drops directly on the coil assembly to get the wicks soaked, put it back together, and fill er up. Be sure to give a little room in the tube for it to "breathe".......
