Well I have tons of XL LR cartos (smoktec, boge, resurrectors) which rarely work so yes, Charlie, this is my only system. Since it seems they are discontinuing the sleeved replacements, I ordered some sleeveless yesterday. Not liking the look of sleevless as much but they will work :)

I think Zipper may be able to supply us with some but I'm sure it would be at a scalper's price HA

I live on the edge with somethings but not my vaping! lol

I'm on the "Notify when in stock" list myself !!!:(

I'm really panicking about the stock status of the Vivi's....
Need at least 3 more before end of next week...getting ansy...

I've seen people recommending soaking in coca cola over night. Anyone tried that?

I've seen that mentioned before and I wouldn't do it simply because of the high sugar content. I wouldn't want to use anything that would carmelize on my coils again. Even if you rinsed it afterwards there would still be some left in the wicks IMHO :)

Your pretty much right Rule. The 190 proof does not dissolve the carbon build up,(this is quit obvious because I see it settling at the bootm of my test tubes).I tend to think it helps loosin it up from from the coils, and flakes off easier.

Another tip, if your Phoenix is drawing really hard, is to take your dental pick or other very small pointed object, and ream out the tiny air hole directly underneath the coil and wick assembly. It helps if your pick took has a 45° angle at the very end.

This crud all comes out with the final rinse and shake in Everclear.

Yep. The dental pick is a tool every clearo vaper should have. Great for picking coils, removing Fluxo cup seals, clearing out air passages, fluffing wicks, pulling mouthpieces out of Stallions, etc.
For Fluxo coils, I use Dentek brushes, to get the stuff off after dry burning. But you have to be more gentle with Phoenix BC coils, because the wicks fray so easily.
I tried to get some test tubes yesterday at HobbyTown, but they were out of stoppers, so I didn't get them. I'm going to try Hobby Lobby tomorrow.
I wish we could get 190 proof Everclear here, but in Florida we can only get 151. I was in Alabama a month ago, and was going to pick up a couple bottles of 190 while I was there, but I completely forgot.

Here's a little tip that may extend the life of the silicone caps used for syringe filling of the Phoenox BC's.
I had a couple start seeping on me lately and it was the silicone plug losing it's seal. Ever notice the first time you push a syringe in a new plug it sometimes removes what looks like a plug. It takes too much out. BEFORE you fill any new ones take a small point sewing needle and push it through the silicone cap first. This will give a path for the syringe without the syringe removing any excess material. Should stay healthy and keep sealing for many, many fills. Just my 2 cents but I believe this will make a big difference in the longevity of that cap.

Good tip. Hadn't thought of it, but I like that idea. I also minimize damage to the seal by never pulling it out from the top by prying it out using the fill hole. I leave the seal in, and after wiggling the tube off the base, I push the seal out with a pencil.

Same here, I use the eraser end of the pencil. :)

I received the Phoenix that Dannoman sent as a replacement and I have to say I am very happy with it. I appreciate the customer service I received and I will no doubt be ordering some! Thanks again Dannoman!

I won't be using Got Vapes anymore. I ordered a Phoenix (with the black sleeve) and did exactly like the video shows. It did nothing but leak like crazy. I tried it several times, wasted tons of juice. The one I received was defected. When I asked for credit to get something else (I didn't even ask for my money back), the response I received was NO. The only way was if it didn't work at all. In other words, they were blaming me and would not accept the fact that they have something that could be defective. So, I'm stuck with this Phoenix. However, they have lost a customer. I also have 2 family members that order with them that they have lost as well...customer service is important!

Yes indeed. I touched on this very point awhile back when I advocated the use of sharp point needles to fill, as opposed to blunt tips, that come with the set.

Some misunderstood that I meant to poke new holes on every fill, which of course, I do not.

If your in an emergency, the rubber top caps that are normaly discarded in favor of your favorite drip tips, can be placed on there side, cut "thinner" with a razor blade, and jamed down to make a new seal. (punctured with a sharp syringe needle, of course)

I must have missed your previous post. Yeah those blunt tips are kinda rough but I don't like using sharps. Too afraid I'm going to accidentally inject myself with some juice.:)
I use the tops also as backups. I don't bother slicing them thinner. They seem to work OK as is.

It was Quite awhile back my friend.
Here's another tip I posted along time ago...the tubes from the factory are very brittle. I broke two of them, by dropping...

3ml syringe tubes are the exact same inside diameter and work great...

The "Graduated" marks wipe off easly with Everclear..

Top post seal not all the way down.
Center post not all the way down.
Syringe hole in silicone plug is not sealing back up allowing air into chamber.
Tube cracked.

If you're not getting a good seal, you may have some juice between the plug and the tube. I don't know how it gets in there, but just a little bit will affect the vacuum in the tube and cause leaking. I just siphon out the juice with the syringe, dry off the plug and the inside of the tube (with a Q-Tip - very useful Phoenix tool), put it all back together and refill. So far, that's worked for me every time.

My new 3ml tanks arrived yesterday. Just filled one and I had no idea how much the flavor dropped off on the old one even with dry burning it. So I'm going to "everclear" it tonight. I did try pulling the bottom metal thingy off of the plastic tank but I think they super glued it on! I'll keep trying but would be glad for more pointers:)

I really want one. My problem is 3.5 ml would last me close to all day (most days), and I never vape the same juice all day. Struggling to justify it other than they're just so dang purty.

Then you are in luck gthompson! They have a 1.5ml size. No "purdy" sleeve but work fantastic! 5 to a box
