Arrived today with the PS logo.

For comparison's sake with the Protege, both devices have a BE-112 atomizer installed.

And the V2 by itself with a brass T-Tip

My Chuck 510 with the brass t-tip, V2 with the t-tip, and Protege with a 510

And now for the bad news:

My Tenergy RCR123A 900mah batteries (the blue ones) did NOT fit in the Prodigy. The Tenergy RCR123A 750mah LiFePO4 batteries (the orange ones) DID fit. The difference in diameter is all of 1/2 of a milimeter, but the blue ones did not fit. If you only have the blue ones, order some of the orange ones right now.

All in all, this is a great device. Feels very solid in the hand, compact, and NO mechanical switch issues. It comes with the longer switch post.

The switch for the Protege and Prodigy are the same right? So wouldnt that lower the Proteges voltage as well?

Derek

They are both the same switch more or less, but im not sure if the Protege has the same materials that the V2 has. Even if it did, the switch would allow any volt between 0 and 5 pass through. It restricts anything greater than 5V to 5V.

The contact disks are different between the Protege and Prodigy. Protege one is made out of copper, where as the Prodigy one is not ... its made from a different material.
