So their is 81?
I could of sworn their was more 18650's?
Are these going on sale in 2 weeks?
There are more woodvils
I had some problems with the polyurethane for some reason bad batch or the finish gods are mad at me for waiting so long to build more wood mods .
I ended up stripping a bunch of them that just didn't cut it for me . This was just a taste of the woodvils more to come shortly . There is no set date and never was on these wood mods . When I am confident on a date I will post the date here and on my website

Just saw the latest pics. Wow. Just... WOW!!!
Can't wait to see the 14500's and the 18490's.

Hope your dad is doing well, Robert.

I prefer the ones with the "not-so-shiny" finish, is that tongue oil?
Yes the flat finished mods are tung oil . I have many more I need to take pictures of

That tasted wonderful Robert! You got my appetite for Woodvil's wet with those pics!

Will wait patiently for the remainder of the Woodvils to get all spiffy for their pics!

Rob, glad to hear that your dad is doing better. Thanks for the pictures!

Out of curiosity, is there any stickiness or residue associated with the oil-finished mods as opposed to the poly-finish mods? Can anyone describe the difference in texture of the finishes?

Robert really takes the time to give the wood REO's lots of sanding and make them very smooth. The tung oil with that gives a super smooth finish that is not sticky in any way. They almost have a glass like feel. The poly finish gives the REO's a superb shine. But they are not over coated so the grain is still very much evident.

It really takes a person knowing the wood and what finish works to bring out the beauty in the wood and also make it durable. Robert has it down pat!

Compare them to wood finishes that you see in fine furniture.

I keep going back to the purple woods! I'm trying to convince myself to get a lighter wood cuz i Have my beloved cocobolo and a garnet/beige stabilized, so I'm telling myself to get something in the middle range...ain't working so far:(

Row 1 Column H.... is a beauty with purpleheart and birdseye (I think) :)

Phew, at least I have not missed any sales. Best wishes for your Dad. I hope is is doing much better now. So I guess I will bookmark this thread and the website. I have been wanting a reo for quite some time now :) would some kind soul answer a question for me though? I am not ready to get into the whole "having to watch your battery all the time etc etc" Mechanical I guess is what they call it. The woodville VV reo's are not mechanical correct? Thanks so much for any info.

i only counted 21 MUST HAVEs...

I'm not nearly as crazy as you...and I saw that many! With finish...I'm drooling.

I expect I will be buying two. I meant to buy one, but I think I will have to have two. I'm not sure how I will narrow it down with how many I saw and thought "there it is!". And we haven't seen the other sizes finished. Sigh.

Funny! I looked at those and thought "man, I want Rob to make me some furniture!". It's freaking artwork.
