So do you need a special rm2 for the woodvil or is it the same one used on the grand?
Robert stated that the RM2 will fit on all the wood REO's made this run.

A Cyclone with a regular top will, I doubt that the a Cyclone with the AFC cap would, The AFC cap is about 18mm wide. Will the Cyclone fit on this new run of woods?
Oak & Walnut are harder woods that would be good for Ohio right?
I need to make the best choice for Ohio's climate lol.
Could you give me a list of the harder woods that are more durable?

I think that any of the woods are fine for Ohio. Or Kansas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma for that matter. My opinion only. I think most of the states have some extremes with weather such as high humidity, extreme heat, extreme cold, dry humidity, hurricanes etc at different times of the year. My feelings about this is to buy a Wood Reo that you like the woods appearance. I sure don't see Ohio as a state where the weather is one extreme all the time.
My
You're over thinking it. Pick a nice mod that is poly coated and you'll be fine in OH.
FYI: Really hard wood is more likely split and crack in a drop than a softer wood that would dent.

I have 53 wood REO's in Ohio. Most do not change in the Ohio climate. Only my Ebony and Cocobolo have had doors stick some in the most humid times.
If you go with Oak, Walnut, Purpleheart, Jatoba, Bubinga, Rosewood, and Padauk you should be fine. I have those and no problems. There are more that would work fine also.
The more exotic woods like Black Palm, and the Burl woods are more prone to break in falls. They are really beautiful but might not hold up as well if subjected to abuse.
Thanks!
Just curious though, why not one with tung oil?
Lower maintenance required. A poly coated wood is very resilient to changes in humidity, juice spills, sticky wet fingers, dust, etc. without requiring the attention to cleaning and re-oiling on a regular schedule.
