Here she is!!!! Order #12567 Ebony quilted maple 18490

and turns out she was the most expensive 18490 for sale $175

Nice! She was my second choice after the one in my avatar. By the time I was done with my first choice (which was the most important to get for me), she was gone. Going to a great home!

So very true! No two alike. A few of my favorites were so close that I almost had to count the lines in the grain! And looking at the pics of the backs added to the challenge! The back to me played a major role in the decision to raise or lower on my list.

It was worth all effort and time spent before the sale to compare the details of each that caught my eye!

Can not wait to see mine up close and personal!!!!

Been working with Rob to figure it out. with both my wife and I ordering at the same time things got mixed up.

So we cancelled one and are waiting to see if we really got the one marked as pending or if somebody else got it.

Hmmmm, do you happen to remember the post number the fronts/backs are for the 18490's? I know it was posted some time last night, but I can't find it now.

I am not going to bother. I'll have them in hand soon enough and I suspect the pictures won't do them justice compared to how they are in person.

It is pictured here, bottom row center. This is after the first coat. There are 50. Later the picture of the finished coat only has 33.

Like I stated earlier the REO's got mixed up and Robert didn't know which were in pictures or not. So a percentage of them did not show up in finished coat pics.

Of course it is special! It was a sneaky REO and didn't want to be in another group picture!

You are trying to make me crazy, aren't you! I'm supposed to be working, not searching for the backs of my 4 new woods. I never bought 4 before at one sale. Two Minis, 1 18490, 1 Woodvil. You're such a sweet torturer!

Three woods, three finishes. Duh-h. Polyurethane I can handle, I've used Poly and Spar. But 'Natural Oil' and 'Lacquer' ? I guess Howard's is next on my to-do list...

Dammit beast you got my first pick, #18, I had it in my cart and hit the wrong button to go to paypal, after it reloaded back to my original screen it was gone, all happened in about 25 seconds,
18 was all about the back of the mod for me, reminds me of Freddy Krueger's face, That is one intense, ohhh sooo close

18 & 20 was down on my list, but I got the first two I wanted and quit. The Maple Burl just talked to me and I had to have it. The Black palm I thought would be gone quick because Rob said he'd never use it again because it was so hard to work with. I wanted it for the chance to have something that might never be made again. I have the two I really wanted but I might check later and if the 18490s are still around I might get one of those.

Y'all convinced me (not too hard to do that, though ). Had to adopt one of the 18490 Jatobas still available. #44 was calling my name--it's just a little different than the other jatobas, in a good way. I will love her (him? don't know until arrival) just the same. Sigh...not looking forward to the CC statement. It will be on the one coming next week . No extra time to pay. It's all good though!

Yeah, the site went down before I had that one bookmarked. Decided 10 minutes before go time to make it the first choice, had to load the whole page of 143 mods and then pick it. I'm surprised I beat you all. Maybe because everybody was waiting for it's detail page and I bought from the main page.
