Post office doesn't run an tax dollars :) Its self funding and had congressional oversight. I don't work for the post office.

I've heard bad things about Post Office from other parts of the country... but I LOVE our Post Office!!! They totally and completely blow away UPS and Fed Ex here (both of whom like to THROW people's boxes). My mailman is the greatest guy ever. I collect rocks and get shipments of glass. We're talking up to 80 lb shipments, because both are crazy heavy for their small sizes. He walks my glass up carefully and puts the box where I can get to it easily on my porch.

If you drop or throw the box even once, it shatters the glass, and in 5 years of getting glass RODS (as thin as 2mm x 1500mm long each), I've never had a single broken rod or tube via USPS. And the glass sometimes travels from Washington state to Florida, across the entire USA or from Europe. The few times I got glass from UPS, the biggest section left was less than 1" long.

Or... 70 lbs of glass across the country if it's cut, shipped for $11. Anyone suggesting USPS go out of business should be shot.

15 days to the island here on a average. I'm so close to the local sorting plant I can throw a rock at it not that it would do a lick of good

Wow, that's unfortunate. It's usually about a week to metro Van. They must be riding the mail out to you tree huggers by bicycle :)

Couldn't agree more.^^^^ Well, except for shooting people. :)

Well... that was a bit of an exaggeration...

But you know what wood, metal, stone crafted items would cost if all we had left was UPS and FedEx shipping by the lb and no more flat rate? Most Ebay vendors and small internet businesses would probably go under immediately.

It's $.47 for a first class stamp, and for the same letter or card, it starts at $5.99. Private corporations = profit and satisfying shareholders on top of the cost of the product. Just like insurance company's $70 million dollar CEO's and shareholder 40% profit on your premiums. Of COURSE UPS and Fed Ex want USPS gone, imagine what sending christmas cards would make them at $5.99 each instead of $.47. And no more free shipping from anyone anywhere.

Sorry, this makes me sooo mad every time I think about someone wanting me to pay $5.99 for a stamp for mail to all be 'private'.

To make them for YOURSELF?

The thing about drip tips is that the BASE has to be a consistent size. Hand shaping molten glass to the correct size is painful, since you don't really know what that size is (molten glass is like thick taffy, it's not pliable like clay) without some kind of mold for size precision to the micro mm. Glass molds must be metal or graphite, neither of which I work, so to make myself a few drip tips, I have to pay for the mold... which means, less money for mods... which means... heck with it!! LOL!

When I am full up on mods/atomizers, I may consider doing some vaping glass things, but not for a while. There are plenty of really good glass drip tips on the market anyway:).

I can show you a FAILED attempt at drip tips I made my first week before ECF deleted my 'show off my newbie vaper decorating enthusiast' thread:p. Here's a silvered boro glass one:

Both of mine also say tomorrow so just keeping fingers crossed!!

In preparation of my Woody's arrival, I installed coil/wick in the RM2 I bought a couple months back. Just for s&g's I stuck it on my Provari and took her for a spin. All I can say is WOW!! This little guy is one hell of a RDA. Every bit as good a vape as my Atomic with a single coil, minus the airflow control. The airflow on the RM2 may be a bit tight for me but I'll give it a couple days before I introduce it to the drill press.

Karen the Sun Shield came today, all 16oz's. Don't think I'll ever have to buy that again. lol
