At least that's the least of your problem. I can't get wifety to agree on the woodies. Am I too young to get a woodies?? Now i m torn with more option.

I said nothing about her agreeing. I'll get my ... kicked for getting one. But the pics almost make it worth it. Maybe if I get a really exotic looking wood, I can tell her it's a blemished model...

Yeah, she's blonde, but she's also a prosecutor. Ain't no way I'm getting away with that. Maybe one year truly off the stinkies, she'll think it's an ok celebration present for myself. August'd be about the right time to start saving up for whatever goodies Rob has planned for holiday 2014.

Just look at the counter in your sig, put that daily cig money you aren't spending away and by the time the woodies go on sale you'll have enough.

You still think they'll be available then? Achh. I'll wait this time and get a grand for now. Then I'll try to take advantage of getting a woodie the next run Rob does.

The classys is always a option. Plus we always have profiteers after the sale unfortunately and those (for reasons I can't comprehend) who will buy to try and decide to sell. Hope you'll be able to get one. :thumb:

Hope everyone that wants a woody, gets one
They look beautiful, but only thing I'll use, is a mechanical reo, no wires etc,

Now if rob could make a mechanical woody....................................that, I'd be all over
Frank

Didn't realize it wasn't mechanical, but now that I think about it...

It's only a few very well recessed wires. My selected for swimming Wood REOs have done lots of swimming, for years, with no issues. And they do seem to hit harder than the mechanical metals. Using AW IMR batteries, that are supposed to be sealed, I just pull the battery, wipe inside, blow out atty, and keep on vaping. When metals go swimming or get a bath I like to let the behind-delrin-cover dry out before using. Don't have to do that with Woods that are suitable for swimming. All woods are fully saturated inside with Howard's.

Although Feisty doesn't "need" another Woodvil she sure would love to get one for collection. And her 18490 numbers are skimpy. Time to sell rest of dust collecting stuff. DH wants me to keep the Infinity Pros, though. He does love his Spinners and Mini ViVi Nova tanks but he's killed two Spinners this past week dropping them. I told him I wasn't going to buy him any more Spinners and he's just going to have to start using the IPs. I have a bunch of batteries for them, most hardly used.

The wires in the wood REO's had me concerned at first. That is why the Grand seemed like a wiser choice for durability.

But I have many wood REO's now. I have never had a fault in the electrical parts of a wood REO. The wires are in channels and hardly visible. The soldering is solid.

I have no problems at all with buying wood REO's. They require a different type of care. No putting in water to wash!

Worth every bit of time spent to keep the wood waxed and to keep them in good condition.

I argue that a wire instead of the body does not mean it's not mechanical. It has not active components on a board that will quit working from drops or liquid exposure. A mechanical electronic connection is being made.

I agree. I consider Woodvils as mechanical mods. That's my story and Im keeping to it! ;)
