Glad it finally arrived Xobe! I was so hoping it hadn't got lost. Looks really nice too, what sort of wood is it? I like it very much. Looks like it has the color tones of a tobacco that would make a really nice NET too :) I hope you do another NEMP when you get back, I would love to get some.

Today I did a minor modification to my two 18490's, I don't like not being able to check the coil height against the height of the air hole with the cap off, and since I only use rda's, I wanted to remove some height from the rim of the drip well. I suppose most people would just remove the atty and rebuild it on something else  Here's a pic:

Oh how I wish I had a natural 18650 cocobolo :(

Me too!

I snatched up my 18650 #18 burl and then went for coco and they were all gone. But luckily the wife was able to get the 18490 coco while I was getting the burl.

I have a 490 cocobolo, lacewood and purpleheart/birdseye. I didn't like the poly finish on the 650 I got sale day so I traded it. I love my cocobolo though. Hopefully I can get a full size one day.

Yeah, thinking of sending a few to Rob to remove the finish for a nominal charge on a few of mine.

Only one I have with poly now is the one I got from you. The Gf stole it though and seems to like the gloss.. Whats your verdict on the Zebra? Is it poly or no?

Yeah, it's poly. Five of mine are, and I want to send a few to him to do. Peace of mine that it's done right by Rob himself is worth it.

Me too, I seriously, literally dream about it!! The other night it was a battle in an auction... I have strange vivid dreams... Ugh... just adds to it that most likely I'll never have 1. :/

Thanks! It is ebony wood. Not sure what kind of ebony, so i'm calling it gaboon solely so i can call the mod the gaboon baboon. Brassed rm2 on top with a brass/carbon fiber tip from brian over at driptipdesignz.

As for the NEMP, once I get home and get my fill of wife time, i'll start on the poo again. Never again will i do raw extract though... What a debacle that turned out to be.

It would seem that a perfectly blended bottle of poo will only accept my secret ingredients when diluted (with more vg of course)... In raw form, between the cigar extract and my add-ins... There were too many add-ins and not enough base for it to mix with.

Lesson learned!

As for my woody... The baboon hasn't left my sight. I fell asleep with it and woke up to it stabbing me in the kidney... Vape is incredible, and i am amazed (but not shocked) at how well this thing is made. I did not expect any less... It is going to be difficult to force myself to use my metal reos now. The metal ones will always have a place though... I beat the heck out of them and smile when they get a new scar.... Scar my woody and i'd likely cry.

That is all for now.

Good night world!

Xobe, your monkey poo has many staunch followers, I'm sure its a good recipe!

Great job, I like it. what did you use?

FB, I borrowed a hand held belt sander/linisher from the sheet metal guys at work, its a miniature belt sander with a 10mm wide belt powered by shop air. Then finished it with a flat mill file, and 400 wet and dry sandpaper to smooth and radius the edges. It all went a lot easier than I thought it would.

All we know is, Rob said he was planning to release a mechanical wood sometime this year.

Oh great! Now I have to decide what to give up in order to afford that new goody. Let's see, maybe ice cream? Nope. Maybe booze? Nope. I got it, maybe golf! Definitely NOT! Hmm, I'll have to think about this some more.
