I guess I am the one bubble off center person. I am one who is not going to buy a wood Reo. I just love my metals. I love the feel of them and the strength of them. Don't get me wrong. I think they are beautiful. A true masterpiece. And think Robert is awesome to all of us Reo lovers. I just am as happy as a lark with my metal Reo's. I have two grands and one VV grand. But I will still probably go to the site the day of the sale just to see all the beautiful woods. Hoping everyone gets what they want and no worries of competition from me! LOL

That's great to hear!!! Spread the word... "METAL IS MAGNIFICENT" to all your friends especially around xmas time!! More wood for us wood lovers!!:p

Oh man, hadn't been to REOville in a pretty good while. Freaked out when I saw this thread. Took me a while to build up the courage to go to the last page, fearing I would read a post by Rob saying something like "well thanks for purchasing every single Woodville, guys. I'm never making them again ever, or at least not for another 5 years, so enjoy."

I'm glad to see I'm not that late *wipes sweat from brow*

Not the best quality a little jerky were I sped the video up but it gives you a good idea of how there milled . Once I start milling boxes in a couple days I will make a better video from start to finish

Damn! I kept blowin at the shavings so I could see the beautiful wood and the awesome machining!

P.S. I don't envy many people with their livelyhoods, but I surely envy you, what with being able to handle all the various woods, the music, the peace and quiet, the porkies...on n on!

Since we have the heads up that there is a possibility of no super minis I'm going to ask THE authority on woodvils. Nerak, could you possibly post a picture that shows the size comparison of the mini woodvil vs. 18490 woodvil? I had my hopes for a super mini for extended battery life/ size combo but now need to have a back up plan and decide size vs. battery life. Any pics helpful. There might be already some in the timeline thread but didn't know where to start looking within the thread. Thank you as always!!!:)

Super mini = 18490 with 3ml bottle
mini woodvil = 14500 with 3ml bottle
18490 = ???????????

Loren, the Super Mini is the same size as the Mini Woodvil. It is not any larger like the Woodvil 18490. Robert has to do some extra work inside to fit the 18490 battery. Therefore the Super Mini has less wood. I treat my Super Mini very careful. The wood is pretty thin, and mine is Redwood Burl. With both those things I feel it needs to be handled with more care.

Woodvil 18490 has a 3ml bottle.

Woodvil 14500: (No Longer Available)

With the 3ml bottle do you find that the 18490 battery lasts longer than it takes to go thru 3ml of juice? With my mini woodvil it seems to be in that no man's land where 1- 14500 battery won't last as long as it takes to go thru 3ml of juice. I always have my key ring nylon case that I keep 2 batteries & 1 extra full 3ml juice bottle. I can just make it thru the work day with 3ml of juice but not 1 battery. Just trying to figure out if I get the 18490 woodvil it would elimate the need to bring extra stuff all the time.

The 18490 battery is 1100mAh. I believe the 14500 is 600mAh. So you would have almost twice the time on the 18490. I don't or have I ever used the Mini or the Mini 2.0 exclusively. Therefore I don't have the personal experience of tackling a certain time frame with just one or the other.

My theory is you would only need an extra bottle of juice for your work day. You might find you don't need to use it though.
