Based on the pic above...18650 was the first run? Are they going to be released by battery size?

Or did I miss the pics for other sizes?

So far we have three sets of pics, with two sets of the 18650 Woodvils still to come. This was Rob's most recent post about a sale date...
As you can see I am at the final stage of the process . I have all the parts to assemble them made up and ready . Its hard to range wood mods . Dry time on poly could add a week in some cases . I guess what I am saying is you cant put a date on wood mods

'Kay, I know little to nothing about how to recognize types of finished wood, so I'm gonna throw this out there. I live in Florida, but was born and raised in New England, and I'd like to get a Woodvil, either 18650 or 18490, made from types of wood native to the northeast, preferably one with contrasting door and body. Are there any coming that would fit that?

First here are some pics of the different woods.

You can find the types in this database and see where they grew. Lots of info that might help you make your decision.

A lot of the height of the bottle appears to be in the cap... Someone here posted a mod of the bottle that uses the drip nozzle insert modded to accept the tube. I wonder if that would give enough additional height for the 6 ml bottle? Or a scrounged 5 ml at least :)

I remember that post but can't find it. Even 5ml would be perfect!
maybe I'm being too .... but this is what I think about at night! My mission is to have a woodvil that would last me all day with no need to carry anything extra AND yet still be somewhat small.
Unless I am completely off in my squonking technique the 4 hours of battery life in a mini is too short with juice left over in a 3 ml bottle so need to carry extra battery. On the other side of the coin 3ml of juice is not enough for 6/8 hours of battery life of a 18490 so would need to carry extra juice! Either way I would need to carry something! I know the solution is a woodvil 18650 but in my opinion too big to carry around in pocket. Sooooooooooooooo.. if I could mod a bottle to hold more juice and fit in a 18490 I would be a happy guy!

I would worry, without extras, that something would go wrong and I would be without. You're a brave person! :)

I know! :)
Actually the more I am fretting over this the more I'm leaning towards just getting another mini for the small size factor. I currently have a little case on my keychain that carries 2- 14500 batteries and extra 3ml bottle of juice. Been using for over a year so I'm used to it.With this case as backup I'm good for 12 hours away from home!

personally I'd rather carry 2 fully loaded mods rather than one and then extra supplies for it. this way worse case if one happens to fail I could always use the juice or battery for the other so I'm never in a situation of not having a vape, but I haven't had any failures yet... biggest things that could have went wrong was maybe burning a cotton wick but since switching to hemp even that is not a concern much anymore, hemp recovers from burning it a little without a nasty taste the rest of the day. I don't want to ever have to rely on rebuilding and/or taking a mod apart during the day if I can help it...

2 mods that almost go the whole day each are usually going to be more than enough to get through any day for me. of course if I had to rewick or refill or recharge during the day I could usually do that, but never really have to by carrying 2 mods, then of course never a bad idea to have a third just hanging around as a backup too, but I don't feel insecure with just having 2 loaded and charged mods alone and nothing else
