The cocobolos will be in the last set . I have a reaction to the dust so I do them all at once and swan dive in the shower after sanding them

Talk about a guy dedicated to his work. That statement may have just put me back in the runnings for a woodvil... though a LP grand with sub ohm kit is calling my name.

Its my favorite wood besides dark jatoba wouldn't you no I would be allergic to the dust :facepalm:

Rob, I'm sure you know from experience how toxic the quinones in cocobolo can be if you have a sensitivity to it. As one woodworker to another, cover all of your exposed skin, and use a respirator, not just a dust mask...and goggles...

Thanks Akdare I do cover up as best as I can it doesn't bother my lungs its a skin reaction . I break out with hives every time I mill it . I do wear a mask though better to be safe then sorry .

Thanks Akdare I do cover up as best as I can it doesn't bother my lungs its a skin reaction . I break out with hives every time I mill it . I do wear a mask though better to be safe then sorry .

I use one of those disposable tyvek jumpsuits that spray painters use with a hood and respirator for sanding those beautiful, but offending woods...and my sander is hooked right into my 220v, big ... dust collection system.

Yep, me too. I have one that looks almost exactly like yours.....maybe a little darker wood. Mine is Rosewood/Rosewood. It's a beauty.

That's just mean :mad: seriously though, I didn't know he wasn't doing anymore VV grands. Glad I gots one of those!
