Well the 18650 will give you more than twice the battery life of the 14500. If you are going through 3ml in 8 hours the battery and juice should run out about the same time with a 18490. Of course I pull my batteries out before they quit. Usually about 3.7 so that is what I am using to compare.

I understand that having it all in a small package is your wish. But really I think you would quickly get accustomed to the Woodvil. It should last you a good long time before changing battery and adding juice.

Thanks for your input!
I made up my mind that I'm going for the 18650. I'm sure I won't be dissapointed in the size factor. having a flagship big boy Woodvil in the family would complete me. :)
Getting my lady a mini woodvil as a backup to her metal mini as well, so the family will consist of his/her metal & wood minis and a papa Woodvil for me! :)

I wonder what the consensus is on what people will be going after on sale night.
Regular Woodvils, 18490s, or minis?
I know Rob is making alot of Woodvils, a few less 18490s, and even fewer minis. Wondering which will be the hardest to get 1st choice.
Going to be a free for all!!!
I imagine the trading thread will be active for a few days afterward with people trading with others for their preferred wood choices!!

These are not sub ohm mods the switch is the same switch I have always used in wood mods 3 amp . This will be the last time I make standard wood mods the next load of wood mods will ether have a mechanical switch like the grand or a upgraded push button . If your a super sub ohm guy this is not the mod for you unless you change the push button switch .
I've been really thinking hard about this. My typical coil is between .8 and 1 ohm. so this week I will be running coils at 1.4 to see if I can adjust. Even though I really want one of these if I cannot adjust to the higher ohm coils I'll have to wait for the mechanical Woodvil.

There have only been one big run each of the Mini Woodvil and the Woodvil 18490. A few offered with other Woodvils after the initial sale.

The Woodvil has been produced the most.

At one time Robert said he would not be making more Mini Woodvils. So this run is very special. We don't know if it will be offered again.

Just sayin' in case anyone is undecided about which to get now and which to maybe get later.

As for me.........well, I am not quite sure yet. It is a big decision with many factors. Sometimes one will catch my eye and then I know!

Perhaps we should ask Rob if he plans on making more of the mini woodvils in the next run so it could help us plan our strategy for our collections vaping needs.

Dearest Rob,

Will you be producing more of the mini woodvils or the woodville 18490's in the next run?

Regards,
Val

I would also love to see the nice small button on the Woodvils like on the 18490s & Minis instead of the big black ones! :)
Just sayin.

Glad to know I'm not the only one having a hard time deciding! :)
Since I have a mini already and plan on getting my lady a mini I am leaning towards the big boy!

I love the big clicky buttons better! They just seem to "fit" the Woodvils. Nice and smooth too!

I happen to have the only Mini Woodvil with the large black button!

I dont think you will have any problems with the mod with a 1 ohm coil many people are running them with 1 ohm coils on there woodvils

That's great new! With the 1.4 ohm coil I'm currently running I've all ready over squonked and juice leaking from the air hole, then I changed the battery, old one still read 4.1 when I metered it.

Actually I guess I jumped the gun and talking out of my a__ as I have not tried the big button yet!! So I spoke on something I have no experience with, my bad. It's just when I look ( gaze) at the pictures of them side by side with the mini & 18490 buttons they look so big compared to the the sleek brass ring button. I'm sure I will love the big button if I'm lucky enough to score a woodvil on sale night. I had a bogger box mod awhile back and it had a big button but was not smooth. I'm sure the Robmeister's buttons are quality and nice feel and by the valued opinions of you all here I feel better now! :)
