With the wood REO"s sale date getting closer I hope all the potential buyers have their Howard's Feed & Wax!
Even with the oiled REO's you can use the wax! Especially on the inside!
SunSheild is what I use. The UV protectant helps keep the colors from darkening or fading.
You can find it online or at some local stores. A bottle will last a very long time!

There are pics in this thread of the Woodvil 18490. They just have not yet been added on the site.

So what is the difference between the Mini Woodvilles and the 18490 woodvilles? He isn't doing 14500's again is he?

Neato! I hope everyone gets the one they want. I will sit back with my Ebony VV and watch the fun. I will be waiting for a new Reo Grand with the chopped deck and the connectivity upgrades. Now if he would just put a dna 30 in a woodville....hum.

I just came from Rob's site....what a lot of eye candy!!
So i've narrowed it down, for now, to 9....seven of them are maples of one sort or another and two are cocobolos.
I 'm blessed with one of them already, but the ones on the site are to die for!

I kind of doubt it. I don't think he is a big fan of chips. Never say never.
He has said he's not going to do any more VV wood mods. Tired of dealing quality control and warranty issues for the electronics. Rob has stated that he is planning a mechanical wood mod and a mod that will take a kick that includes a spacer to run it without a kick, that way if you what a regulated mod you can add a kick and Rob can focus on his mods.

Each Woodvil shown in the website is unique. Meaning there is only one available for purchase. Is this correct?
If so, there are only 130 TOTAL Woodvil ?!?!
And how many people will be rushing to buy these? thousands?? :face palm:
And how long does it take to get sold out? like 5 seconds?
I am just try to figure out the odds of a noob like me actually scoring one. One thing for sure. Glad this isn't sold in a store. I would have been ran over by the stamped.

.8Ω on the woodvil? (I read 1Ω okay)
I'm right on the cusp of having to wait for the mechanical batch.
I just seem to keep going lower, and lower, and lower..........
I really enjoy the .6Ωcoil on my grand and .8Ω on my mini 2.0
I do remember my mini woodvil hitting harder than my metals did when it was all 1.5lr 306's for me.......
I can't decide if a 1Ω will leave me wanting on a new woodvil
Anyone with these resistance preferences and wood and metal care to chime in?
