got my wood. I just swapped an atty from another mech bf I had with me onto one of them, not sure of the resistance off hand but it's 6 wraps of 26 gauge, well below the recommended minimum I'm sure. figure I'll torture test it to see what blows first. expected the on/off switch to burn out first but so far it's working fine. has anyone tried to sub ohm in there woody? I mean I do understand current limitations of switches and stuff but I also know that many times there under rated to worse case. I'm guessing I'm at somewhere in the .5 ohm area give or take and so far it's working fine. has anyone torture tested there's ever? I can tell there is a bit of voltage drop, the woody doesn't hit as hard as my mech but it's hitting consistently and pretty well so far... waiting for something to give up but nothing yet :D

Hey everyone... calm down... doncha hate when people say that when you're fired up? lol

Let me educate you on the new postal service. 1st a little background info. Tax dollars do NOT fund the PO in any way. 2nd the reason the PO is in the red has nothing to do with shoddy bookkeeping. What caused this is email causing folks to send less actual letters and the fact that congress requires the PO to fund workers pensions 75 years in advance!! Think about that... in 75 years it's mostly likely that my grandkids won't even still be alive or they will be near death anyway. No other biz is required to do that, NOT 1!!

So in trying to get back in the black the PO is cutting positions as well as shutting post offices nationwide, cutting benefits and cost of living is rising at probably twice the rate as a postal workers pay. On top of that they are being required to do the work of 2 or more workers. When a carrier is ill they don't give his route to someone else, what they do is split his route between other carriers that have nearby routes on top of the overload of mail they are already delivering!!

Last year a carrier here in the metro was sick, he tried to call in and was denied, they told him to finish his route, he finished, told them he didn't feel well again, they sent him back out to deliver someone else's route. He collapsed and died that day... NOBODY is taking responsibility for this madness. Do postal workers get hazard pay? The answer is no, most of the time they don't even get a thank you even though they walk miles through rain, sleet, snow, and over 100 degree temps to get us our mail.

Three entirely different woods with different feel to them! Love it! Beautiful REO's for sure!

Now that Lacewood.....isn't it a spectacular feel? I mean, I can tell when I pick it up in the dark that it is my Lacewood. I can't explain the feel either. Very different, not slick like the Purpleheart. Then the Curly Oak....you can feel that thin grain.

Marvelous choices!

But we did pay for 2 day delivery. It will be a mystery as to whether mine will show on my door today or not, until I get home.

Not that you want to hear this, but unfortunately 2 day priority can mean any where up to 5 days after that expected delivery date. Dang post office... :( If it's any consolation, mine had an expected delivery of today, and it didn't show. Here's hoping and praying tomorrow is the day.

Mine was just processed through the sort facility here in Indy at 2:07 pm EST.....it's all good and looking forward a Thursday delivery.

They all have their own unique textures and I love them all. Wishing I could have gotten more. Guess I gotta start saving for the next sale!

Maybe now that people have multiples with different wood they can understand why I have so many! They sure are unique! I can't wait for to get mine tomorrow!

I took a two hour lunch...mail was late. Now I won't be out of work in time to hit the PO :( My tracking says slip was left andthe carrier hadn't been there. Grrr..

I left a note in the box with my signature.

J don't think that will make any difference Im afraid. My psychic abilities is telling me you maybe coming down with a bug so maybe a xick day is in order. ;)
