I mixed BestLions Recipes today both his Boba's taste alike and Gorilla juice taste alike.
I haven't have AVE's gorilla juice so I cannot compare, but I do have Boba's Bounty to compare with.
I do like both recipes.
Seriously they came out quite nice.
Not Boba's exactly but it is really tasty. Thank you BestLion for sharing 2 really easy recipes to mix up.
Both are good and I will enjoy them greatly. I did not use all Dekang juices though. Only Dekang Almond flavoring and
Dekang banana and pineapple juice. The other tobacco and vanilla and coconut were USA juices.

Please change the title of this thread. It's misleading: the OP clearly is proud of his recipe, but in no way does it taste like the real thing. In cast, anyone who try to replicate them will get something comparable.

Nice to see people trying to produce a clone, but this one is not serious I'm afraid, yet it's the first one in Google.

I havent tried that exact mix myself, but in my quest to clone BB myself, i've learned that steeping for 2 weeks is extremely crucial.

Wierd. Seems people really taste what they want to out of Boba's Bounty. I thought Boba's Bounty tastes like puppy chow.. You know the snack.. The powdered-sugar-chocalte-chex stuff.

I never tasted any "smokeyness" to it at all. Just tasted like puppy chow to me. Gorilla juice tastes exactly the same to me but with added banana.

Ive read this whole thread... based on some of the first comments on it being incredibly simple, this is what I have come up with that tastes 95% on par with Gorilla Juice TO ME.. please try and comment back, ill finally subscribe to this :)

This is for 5 ML -

100%vg
12-15 drops of TPA Grahmcracker (about .25ml - .35ml for easier scaling)
4-6 Drops of TPA Banana nut
4 Drops TPA PieCrust (take it or leave it, I dont think it needs it but I like it)
1% vape wizard (if you're into that sort of thing.. lol)
7 drops your choice sweetener.

My ideal FOR ME is:
15 TPA grahmcracker
6 TPA banana Nut
4 TPA pie crust
9 drops your choice sweetener.
Rest the same

~About 10% flavoring total.

Start off at the minimums I stated and its closer (IMHO), I preferred it stronger so I bumped it up a little. LET IT STEEP at least 24 hr it will be VERY strong at first.

Please let me know what you guys think....

To the above recipe:

Is there not a tobacco in the original Ave recipe? Isn't that what gives it its robust-ness?

Also, not to knock all of the peoples trying here, but, I think it's funny that after two years of attempts, no one has successfully figured out these supposed 'simple' recipes :D

That, or, someone has it and isn't sharing! :glare:

No one knows as you stated here lol:

Compared to other "robust" tobacco flavors, this one comes across more malty and smooth than anything TO ME.. lol
I'm trying to share my findings... maybe my tastebuds are shot, I have no clue.. haha.. but I have every tobacco base imaginable, and I don't perceive it in Gorilla Juice.. What I get is damn close to what I posted.. If you DIY, try it and give some feedback :)

I just purchased my first set of supplies, set to come tomorrow, hopefully.

Alas, I did not purchase even one of those flavors in your recipe :( But! I promise you that I will eventually try it. I applaud your determination, and I will, no doubt, join the rest of your engineers in the process of unwrapping the mystery that is these two juices. Boba's is, well maybe was, my all day vape for over a year now :)

Im not saying its 100% on.. there is definitely a flavor note missing.. hoping the community can figure it out.. it might be some tobacco I dont have.. maybe even tobacco alc or similar. If its a tobacco, its a VERY mild one, not like a Perique, m-type, or Desert ship. Though I like all those, I dont taste it in here.

Or you could just support a great company and buy it :).I totally understand the need and the desire to d.i.y.I do all my own construction and mechanical work but this concerns me because if someone did manage to actually nail the formula it could cut Ben's business in half/shut him down and a lot of us who prefer not to make our own liquids would be up crap creek without a paddle.

I think many of us doing DIY arent buying commercial liquids already, therefore not impacting commercial sales as is. The simple fact is DIY anything isnt going to put people out of business. I DIY my own beer and I havent seen any breweries go out of business, I DIY my own metal work and machine shops are still humming, I do my own plumming, electronics work, and even gardening.. still busineses thrive around me... point being, There will always be people that find it easier to just buy what they love from a source they trust. I for one wont be going around trying to sell clones of liquids, I feel thats wrong, but I have no problem making clones for myself.

I've bought one bottle ever, it just wasnt my cup of tea, it was too tame. I have noticed AVE has been in high demand because they cant make it fast enough to sell it, this isnt the typical signs of a company that is being impacted by DIY.

I accidentially stumbled on a similar mix while making a base for another liquid I was making and just thought id share.

I think they've been "half" shut down for a long while anyway. Closing earlier, unavailable BB or GJ, closed completely for a few weeks or more. Sometimes people just want something and try to get it. So I don't feel it would be hurting Ben's business in any respect.

Ben was actually hospitalized for his heart a few weeks ago. They have had some issues getting the supplies for Bobas Bounty and GJ and have been dealing with a move and having to restock all of their juices. You might want to actually take the time to read the AVE juice thread on the forums before making incorrect assumptions.I can assure you that they are communicating with their customers and are open for business.

Im sorry if that sounds a bit harsh but this a great company with great juice and awesome customer service and Id like to think that if the unthinkable ever happens and they do shut down that Ben cares enough about the community to release the recipe himself. Until then Im going to continue supporting them any way I can.
