First yes I signed it...

However I view it as a useless gesture, the FDA is under zero obligation to give any petition any weight in their decision. In other words it will be completely ignored. The FDA has already decided on their agenda and it will take the court system to change anything they decide to implement. The main battle that needs fought is to have e-cigs declared a non-tobacco product. The FCC already considers it to be a non-tobbaco product, we need to build from that. We need to contact and inform our elected officials in this matter and get them on our side in this fight. I would also suggest that the FDA is yet again making rules that violate States rights to govern themselves.

Last I would like to see US juice makers to concentrate on extracting the nicotine used from sources other than tobacco and remove e-cigs completely from the plant the FDA has control over.

From what I read concerning the deeming regulations, the FDA is not wanting to ban e-cigs, they just want the power to tax it at the same rate a pack of cigarettes is taxed.

Rather than a petition I would say a million vaper march in DC would have more effect...
