Looks like full cure is in 24 hours:

Super Glue ULTRA Gel Control Directions from Loctite Adhesives

I've taken to buying the cheapest generic "super glue" I can find, preferably in small-tube multi-packs. In my experience the glue in an opened tube/container will often dry or start to harden between uses (admittedly rare in my case).

Ymmv.

Appreciate your comments. You make a valid point.

It's not an instant 'bond' but sets up fairly quickly, you'll have just a bit of time to fool with it but not much.

UGH!!! I did have to fool around with it a little. Hopefully enough time though. Thanks.

I finally went to Office Depot on Tuesday to buy a Silver Sharpee. The guy tells me they were selling them for $0.25 a week or so ago. Timing is everything — paid $2.49 for one which is better than having to buy a package of 12.
Came home and marked the magnets although I wasn’t quite clear on what difference it makes as to what side of the magnet is marked.

Fast forward to this morning. I was getting ready to go out and refilled my Stealth Kabuki. Then I went to change Jac’s battery. Really struggled trying to get the battery cover to fit on properly. Finally gave up after many tries plus I was now starting to run late. I put the Stealth Kabuki on my black Classic ProVari. Ahhhh — leave the house wth ProVari in hand vaping.
Came home this afternoon and was bound and determined to get the battery cover on the Jac. Lo and behold I noticed the magnets from the mod are out of their slots and now attached to the battery cover magnets. Was so happy I took care of marking the magnets but again not sure why. Since I wasn’t quite sure what type of glue to use I was able to insert the magnet into the mod at the top. The bottom though just did not want to fit in the slot. Tried and tried and couldn’t get it in correctly. So I said to myself, self give it up. I put a fresh battery in Jac and the cover attached very easily — very nice. Take Kabuki off the ProVari and back on Jac now. Shake Jac and no rattle or movement of the battery cover. The cover appears to be securely attached with just the top set of magnets. When the battery needs to be changed will see whether the top magnet is still in its slot or whether it has attached to the magnet on the battery cover.
In anticipation what type of glue should I be buying?

my thought on such things is: Mark Them BEFORE it happens :w00t:

so if you go around and put a "MARK" on each while installed, you always KNOW that side should be OUT
and Glue goes on side WITHOUT the mark (never glue the mark) and I don't need to say about, IF you glue it in THE WRONG WAY :sneaky:

Sorry to hear that @classwife, but I kinda know how you feel. Similar thing happened to me @ 60. I did some consulting for a couple of years & called it a day at 62. I hope all works out for you... :(

That's what gets me out of bed every morning and to the bank. I'll be 62 real soon now.

But there is hope in some places. We just hired a guy that's 56. Management finally figured out that the 30 year-olds come cheap, but you get what you pay for in many cases. Whereas the old dudes pay for themselves. Good luck on your search!

sorry to hear that classwife. There is hope tho. I worked for a company for 36 yrs, the one day they told us, you have one hour to get your stuff and leave. They shut the doors, no notice or anything. I now have been with a company for 2 yrs now and make more money. I'm 58
