At the nursing home where I usually volunteer they have an onsite pastor who I'm very good friends with, despite being an atheist (and the fact he's a mammoth blackberry nerd), and any time I go to enter his chapel or office I edge in slowly like I might burst into flames, it never gets old for either of us.

Sorry but I'm not familiar with how this mod is wired, does it use a case ground for the 510 connector?
There have been a few cases where the 3 screws that mount the board in the mod that become loose over time resulting in a poor ground of the 510 socket. My thoughts here is some type of poor connection between the board and coil, where ever it may be.

In any case, i put 4 different atties with simple single stranded SS and it either went multi digits or OFF. Jac said the board was faulty and will replace it.

I'm sorry but i got the feeling that very few actually offered advice on this thread aside from borderline mocking, which was really surprising taking into account the experience up until now with years i've spent on this forum (not directed at you baditude, you've been extremely helpful in a number of my questions and I do thank you for sharing your knowledge).

To me the money i spent on this mod is not a little and i got a little freaked when crazy numbers started happening and i couldn't use it for what i got it.

In any case thanks to everyone who helped, the matter has been resolved with Jac. And another thumbs up to them and their customer support.

I bought the Series B for three reasons. 1) It was solidly built, 2) It had a DNA board, 3) I liked the compact size. I would have bought it for either power mode vaping or TC. I started out using power mode and went to TC after six months because it turned out I liked it. The mod is great for either style of vaping.

The "TC/Power" thing has been a running joke here, mainly focused on Kat and me, with a few others willing to join in on the "fun". It was never serious, and I can't imagine anyone cares very much how I vape. At least I'd hope they don't. Put it this way, I sure don't...

We'd never mock anyone, and were just having a bit of reborn fun with the topic - but not directed at anybody. Nobody here doubted for even a second that JAC would take care of you, so we knew you were in great hands.

On that note, I'm very glad to see it played out exactly as expected, and am also glad that you're back in business. to both you and JAC.

Understood. It was insensitive of me not to consider the fact you weren't familiar with the history.

Like I said, we knew you'd be set right. JAC doesn't play around. They're a top notch vendor (IMO).

And that is kompletely understandable, Rip. I know our comments were not meant as mocks or knocks, not at all. And that history isn't all that widespread, I guess.
