Back in the corner with you....gravity denier :)

@RipCigs..

For the record I'll always backup anyone trying to avoid resorting to power mode, I'll happily tease anyone trying to suggest power mode on a dna mod, even better if I can tack on a sideswipe at squonkists :)

My world of barb targets has dwindled since Provari went toes up, those folk were good sports and actually quite gracious at playing along and sometimes even encouraging me to take potshots at them...the sickos :)

You'll find most of us don't take things too seriously and like to have fun

Looks like something you're forced to play in a primary/elementary school music recital, thoughtfully captured on VHS by your parents and played at your wedding...

I've got four or five mods (types) that I absolutely swear by, and nothing will ever change that. I'm too old, and have been at this much too long ("Get off my lawn!")...

This list includes my beloved EPMs, from your corner of the bush. ;) They have traveled long and far, and have served me OH-so-well. One of my two is still in daily use. The other sits at the front of my "museum" shelf, battery pack removed and watching over everything else; making sure it all behaves. ;)

JAC is in that group, having now been at the very top of my list for... jeez... for QUITE a while now!

My older Provaris (v2x) are still very much in play too, and give me comfort because I know they'll always fire for me.

Besides, y'know, volts do taste better (than watts). ;):vapor:

Is that a usb connection on the bottom of that, can it be used as a pass thru? Just wondering.

Lol!

I too have my "nothing will ever match this" gear, i darent mention their name, but i have 3 of them :)

I know the EPM's only too well, one of the first vapers i ever met (as a newbie, he invited me out for coffee and to show me some gear) had an EPM and swears by it. Also know another guy who has a couple of them. Very well thought of.

I get along with the DNA chips, my one bugbear, the constant refining, ive learned to live with as i refuse to lock ohms on any mod i own (on the TreeBoxen (oops i mentioned them) theres not even the facility..). The refining is less of a drama on good tanks and so its become less of an issue since ive stuck to my core gear...the Crius II is probably the most stable atty ive ever had tc/ohms-wise...and here i was thinking before i bought it, maybe that clamp deck will wreak havoc....

I dont have a vape cupboard, let alone a museum. Maybe i should reconsider the offers from those vendors for me to review things for them :) In the current state of things im not sure a lot would get a thumbs up, what with my pet hates, fugly mods...so many - better than 80% of whats out there would cop a hiding from me on review, just for design/aesthetics, and my latest....bubble tanks...i do not get those..

And now i really feel like shooing kids off my lawn...

Good to know about the Crius ll, have one on the slow boat. If I ever use temp control, I’ll start with it.

To me, vaping is like underwear, pick what’s comfortable to you. If I wasn’t getting the flavor I want from my measly low watts, I’d try temp control.

The important thing is not the device, or how much it cost, rta vs atty tank vs rda... as long as you aren’t smoking and it suits you , it’s the perfect setup.

I used power mode for 5+ years. Last year I tried TC for the first time since my Series B was capable. While I do not consider it a game changer, I do prefer it over power mode. It just adds another layer of regulation that ensures the same hit every time. The same thing can be achieved in power mode by simply letting off the fire button and re-pressing as needed. Don't have to do that with TC. Kind of dummies up the process of taking a hit. I'm all for anything that facilitates my dumbness.

Weehee! I'd been having a really lousy day (thanks, GDPR). Then the postie arrived. He brought me a pair of gorgeous black Jac Vapour Series-B DNA 75W mods. I may forgive the EU after all.

I feel your GDPR pain daily, and while I celebrate the arrival of your JACs, I don't envision said forgiveness coming from my own self.

 for black Jackies!!!

Never mind, I encountered PECR and overcame my unaccountable inclination to clemency. I'm now off to bask in the consolation of my JACs.

I think the TC on my older Jac(12/17) has gone haywire. After vaping for awhile the vape starts to fade like maybe the wicking was not keeping up and the tc is backing it off. So I rebuilt a few times to see if I could improve the wicking, no luck. It would vape fine for awhile, then start backing off. I finally turned tc off, and went wattage, and it's been fine since, about 3 days now.
