Well, their house music has gotten A LOT better...
Duane brings a whole new energy to the band. He has the back beat.
I think that the slowing tempo has been dragging them down for years. As I indicated in an earlier post a few days back, we'd had some interaction with Todd and friends 5 or 6 years ago and we though he was ready to die then...how he convinced the band to keep him this long...well I get it now...
I'm happy for the necessary changes...
Solid first set, nod to the 10 year ARU reunion happening soon, CTS didn't close! Always a bonus, got one pick! Have a niece named Lily and I've mostly been up all night, so solid...they are tight. JoJo does sound like he's either sick or was the reason for the UAN...
In a strange sort of way, I liken Duane picking up the energy to when Hornsby played with the Dead...It seemed to bring a new spark and energy level to Jerry
I know it is a weird analogy but it is what came to mind

Great cabin...pretty cool to see the stars like that...where I was a whitewater rafting guide here in Maine our base had a few places that we could see the stars that clearly
and the Northern Lights too
