If you haven't tried organic Japanese cotton, get your hands on some and give it a test run! I've used every kind of silica, organic cotton, hemp and even spent the extra money on treated ceramic and nothing compares. It wicks faster than anything I've tried and all I taste is the juice. I chain vape and I never get a dry hit. This is how vaping is supposed to be!

These are my top 3 Japanese cotton pads, which I prefer. The Koh Gen Do is the best by a fair margin.

I was lucky enough for a special person to send me a bunch of different wicks to test out and I found the Koh Gen Do and cellucotton to be outstanding. I just need to find a use for all those cotton balls I bought because I will never go back to them.

Do you or any of your friends/family BBQ with charcoal?
You can stuff the cotton balls firmly into a glass jar, I use empty salsa jars.
Fill the jar with Denatured Alcohol, or Grain Alcohol, until the cotton balls no longer absorb any alcohol. Close jar with lid.
Use as fire starters for charcoal. I usually use 2-3 balls to start a chimney of charcoal, but little as 1 can be used.
Burns hot, burns clean, cheaper than store bought ones!

On topic...I received some Japanese cotton as an add-on in a classifieds deal. Really starting to get the hang of using it, and starting to like it a lot !!

JAPANESE ORGANIC COTTON RULES!!!

And I found the best deal "like I always do" on ebay. You have got to try this organic Japanese cotton.
The ebay store is called Islandworlds and they have the real deal for so much less then "Koh Gen DO" brand. I have tried every type of wick known to man and cotton is the best, ...but Islandworld organic cotton is hands down the greatest yet! (for the money). It wicks juice like a dream and makes my DIY juice taste 2x better. It's easy to cut a little of the pad and roll it between my fingers (super-clean) and work it through my coils. Another plus is that this cotton is ready to go, NO BOILING needed!

I will never vape from regular cotton ever again!:vapor:

I'll make a longer review someday soon. I just wanted everyone to know about this high value alternative to pricey Koh Gen DO. Customer service with Islandworlds was great too. They ship out of Hawaii, but they ship fast.

Islandworlds fleabay store:
(15) 100% NATURAL JAPANESE ORGANIC COTTON Pads/Sheets for Wicking RDA Tanks - $5.00 + free shipping

I've been using rayon since June but just got some koh gen do last week. So far, I think I like KGD more. The only real problem I have with rayon is that I think it is too particular on how much you have to wick. I am tired of dry hits because I used just too little, or just too much. I've just started using the KGD, so nothing definitive yet, but so far no problems. I will say that the flavor between the two is pretty darn close.

I have cotton bacon. I'd say that t is better than organic cotton balls, but that is it. I think it is just straightened organic cotton. No where close to KGD or rayon.

wow thanks for the FleaBay link!

I was looking online and wow all the stores for KoGenDo are out of stock! Vapers have stormed the world for it.
Is this the same thing as KGD?

Anyway just fyi, have any of you tried White Pony cotton pads? from shopmastervape? Its more expensive but holds the juice better according to their tests; photo's on site.
