Ok, so I'm back with some break down pics of this Infinite Stingray clone ... What is most surprising is that this is hands down the dirtiest mod I have ever received, specifically the threads. However, even before attempting to clean it up, every single piece threaded on and off like silk, while filthy.
The switch was crunchy as hell, and kept sticking right out of the box however, since cleaning it, and with use over the last two days, it is no longer crunchy, or sticking.
My biggest gripe with this mod is the finish, which is supposed to be polished, and it is, yet you can clearly see the brush markings in from the lower grit work ... so this is the saddest polishing job I have ever seen on a mod. It is also a stretch to call this "phantom brass" because clearly it is not ... not even close. What they should call it though, is Phantom Polish which is very accurate considering the finish changes appearance from brushed to polished, depending on the angle, and lighting, as can be clearly seen in all of the photos attached.
Right now as the mod is standing upright next to me, it appears to be a gleaming mirror polish ... lay it on its side, and it's suddenly brushed ... its Phantom polished people
What is good about the Infinite Stingray is in addition to the very fine, and silky threads, are the near invisible seams between tubes, which again depending on angle, and lighting, appear very, very faint to invisible.
So there you have it ... The Infinite JD Stingray phantom polish clone

... In spite of the phantom polish job, I still love this mod, it hits totally beast, the threads are the best I have experienced, and the switch is dope once you clean it up ... all in all, still a winner in my book.
Last note, you will be adjusting the switch quite a bit to accommodate nipple top batteries, so flat tops are your friend.
