Finally got my black copper infinite stingray today in the mail. This is a quality clone, for what I paid im extremely happy with the product. All threads are perfect and no button crunch like my hcigar brass ray. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Do any threads show with switch screwed in?

Yeah thats the only real problem I could find with this. If it wasnt for that it would be 100%. I guess I shouldnt complain with what I paid and all, but yeah lol id fix it if I could.

Yeah, I hear ya.

I tried to fix mine. I ground the bottom of the part where the lower magnet screws into till it was completely flat. I also sanded off half of the white delrin part, no dice. I think they just made the tube a little short.

Oh well, I tried...lol

Those with a Infinite Black Copper Stingray should contact the vendor who they bought it from. Infinite is sending every vendor and group buy runner a fixed extension tube.
I have contacted the Ebay seller that I bought mine from about the short tube replacement, awaiting response.

Im not sure if its been mentioned on here yet or not but for anyone interested in a hybrid top cap check out Fusionmods.com. I got mine yesterday with my copper black sringray and it works and looks amazing. Works just like my 2 4nine mods now and it makes the ray a little smaller and cleaner. Check them out!

frustrated right now. all of the sudden it hits super weak. have to press very hard to get anything. usually does not fire. what the heck. I have no idea what is wrong. have changed nothing. my atty builds work fine on other mods. how the heck does a mech mod just quit? I mean I know something about them and have no clue here. I cleaned threads, contacts etc of course. there is only one possibility. the 510 is finicky on this. I mean not much threads. I wonder if the pin bent. not that I can see at least. any ideas?

A couple of things come to mind.
one. the 510 pin isn't really that long. It it making concretion with the 510 center pin of the atty?
two, is the wrapper on the battery where it wraps around the bottom of the battery interfering with the contact where it makes connection on the center of the battery?

thanks. that was it. the switch contact got slightly bent. must have pressed too hard. since it is not flat it was then mostly hitting the batteries wrapper. it was the threaded post of the contact that got bent. I carefully centered it again. works fine now.

the thing is the switch is a finicky design. even on the jd it is the same thing. other mods the contact is independent of the threads. I mean on others you screw on the switch until it stops. I may have tightened it too much and that bent it too. the other thing with this is to make sure you screw on the atty before tightening the switch.
