Johnson Creek Hawaiian Kona Coffee

I just sent them an email, because im not sure it tastes like coffee. It says vanilla and coffee, but there is something strange about it.

I dont taste coffee or vanilla. It is a flavor I have either tasted or smelled before and I just cant figure out what it is.

Not a bad flavor, but not terrific either. Ive been smoking and smoking and smoking trying to figure out what it is.

Ill update if I figure it out.

Well, I've drank Hawaiian Kona coffee a few times and although its unique to say the least I wasn't really a fan enough to drink it often.

I found it to have, yes a vanilla tease taste, and what I'd consider a quite strong dark coffee taste (comparable to Blue mountain Jamaican) but with a hint of fruit.

I'd only imagine it to be "too" sweet tasting with PG as that seems to put added sweetness on any flavour.

However, I was looking to hear some reviews before I took a chance on ordering it.

Let us know how it settles in after a while of vaping it.

I just got my order of JCjuice today. Coffee and Tenn cured.Not sure about either yet. Don't get me wrong,I'm a big fan of JC. I really liked their Hickory and the original buy these new ones I'm not quite with yet. When I first tasted the coffee I thought "that tastes like a skunk smells, better give it a little time first. The more I smoke it the more I can taste the coffee bean flavor so maybe I'll like it. But I'm still not sure about the Tenn yet.

Generic coffee like you get at home is what I wanted. I guess it is an aquired taste for this Kona coffee flavor. I'll keep smoking it and see if I can pick up the desire for it, but right now it does not look like a substitute for my cashbucks, even though the flavor of cashbucks is not as powerful as it was 3 months ago.

I've had both real Kona (my favorite coffee as long as it's 100% Kona and not a blend) and the JC Kona Juice.

The juice isn't bad but I'm going to have to do a proper review on it because it's not good, either.

I'm becoming less and less impressed with JC.

Terraphon--I agree--I got my order in on Saturday and this stuff is not making the grade for me. Its as if she did not realize I was complaining about the flavor and was trying to sell me on buying a bottle. Id like to know who thinks its "fantastic"

Here's what I've found with JC, in general -

Weak vapor
The flavors are either overpowering or very weak
The juice is very thick compared to others I've used
It goes FAST (I went through 15 mils, cutting it with glycerine AND other juices, in just over a week...that's twice the rate of some of the others I've used).
All in all, I'm not happy with them, at all. They have some real work to do if they want to impress me...Especially after tasting a competitor's coffee flavor tonight.

Hey, im new to ecigs,(as well as to the forum, though ive read alot, first post. yay!) near 2 weeks now. I haven't ordered many juices yet, a sample pack as well as some others from puresmoker, most of which i enjoyed.

Decided to order a sampler of JC because Ive heard a lot of good about them... I was very excited to try the coffee flavor because i really liked puresmokers coffee for my morning vap, and was hoping to get a pleasurable experience from jcs new coffee as well..

Got my package yesterday, grabbed a new cart and filled with the coffee...

I must say... one of the worst flavors Ive ever tasted in my life
It almost made me throw up.
I don't know if its just me... But I swear to god... it tastes like they bottled up puppy breath... (I have a constant reminder of what puppy breath smells like BTW because we have a new puppy in the house =^_^=)
And personally.... I have never wanted to taste puppy breath, smelling it is enough for me... ;p
I didn't think it really tasted much like coffee at all, and didn't taste any vanilla... I cant speak for Hawaiian kona coffee, cause Ive never had it, but(i saw it compared to blue mount and..) Ive been to Jamaica and have had fresh blue mountain coffee, and this tastes nothing like it... tastes nothing like any coffee Ive ever tasted...
After about an hour of trying to smoke it, thinking maybe the taste would get better, it never did and I changed the cart. It still tastes like puppy breath :/
I tried whipping out the atomizer, puffing lots, adding strong flavs to my new cart, but the puppy breath taste it seems will not go away, probably have to totally wash the atomizer...
Don't get me wrong, every other flavor of jc Ive tried Ive really enjoyed so far, other then thinking the liquids a little thin..
And like I said, maybe its just me, but I thought I would put in my 2 cents on the coffee flavor.

Wow. I cannot believe the negative reviews of this flavor. I love it. I taste the coffee, I taste the vanilla, the vapor is great in my Janty Kissbox Classic. The taste is on the exhale and it gives a good throat hit. Are you guys using a clean cart and good atomizer?
This is now my favorite JC flavor. I got the PG medium.

Edit: I do only drink Kona coffee at home, so maybe I am used to the flavor

Ok I get to answer this one with some authority, living in Hawaii I drink Kona coffee all the time. I do taste the coffee, Kona I dont know.
but I wanted to say I'm not really impressed with the JC line of juice. I bought the sample pack and dont really like any of them, they are fun to try to see if you can pick up the flavors, but I use my ecig in replacement of analogs I want a tobacco flavor like marlboro reds of lights, any suggestions.

Very interesting you said it made you feel sick. My friend came over today with his JC sampler pack and we vaped away testing the flavors. After he left I started to feel pretty rotten and I am just now starting to feel better. I know it wasnt the nic content (unless QC is way down and we got super high concentration of nic) because I vape 2.5ml of Cash's 24mg menthol every day and this JC was only medium strength.

Not only that but every single flavor had a smokey undertone to it and neither one of us like any of the flavors to much. 2 or 3 were OK but nothing either of us would ever buy.

I just had my neighbor try the kona coffee and he did not know what the flavor was. I put 2 drops on the atomizer of his pilot and after 2 drags he said it tasted like a skunk.

The inconsistency from them is very notable and I, for one think they need to get with the program and start releasing a better product.

I'm not at all impressed with any of the flavors I've tried from them. A buddy of mine got their sampler pack and I went through quite a few...Mostly not good...Strange smells, strange flavors, very acidic with a lot of them...

Take note JC. You've got quite a few customers who aren't happy with your product.

You have to wonder how accurate there nicotine levels are if they cant even get the flavor the same from batch to batch. Untill they get better QC I wont be ordering from them.

Well, I know that the stuff I've had from them has a really weak throat hit, goofy taste, and I end up smoking the stuff CONSTANTLY. I never really thought about it but that very well could be because I'm not getting much in the way of nicotine.

I also noticed that their list of ingredients lists Tobacco essential oil and tobacco absolute which, from my research, don't indicate any nicotine content. Beside that, there's no indication of added nicotine.

Of course, I'm not a botanist but...................

Terraphon--you are right on point with JC. I almost always let things go when it is subjective--but not with JC's Coffee--there is something dead wrong with the batch I got. As I have said before, I have used their Vanilla Ice Cream for months, and the batch that came in with the new coffee also tasted skewed. They is an very stong acidic taste in both of them and the smell is very strange. I sent mine back today asking for replacments to see if in fact this is what I suspect--a quaility and consistancy issue. As you say--they need to get on the ball as there are a lot of unhappy vaporers here with their product---Sun
