OMG I looked just for the heck of it late this afternoon to see what the status of my order was and no change since I ordered it which is what I had expected and I JUST looked and my Infinity order#1437 shipped today !!!!!!!!! I've had packages come across the country in two days but more likely it will be three soooooooo Saturday is most likely the day it will arrive. With bad luck it will be Monday. YAHOO !

PARTY INVITATION:

You are all invited to come to a party on this thread next Monday evning at 8 PM EST to celebrate my having recieved my Infinity. BYOB (I'll be imbibbing rum and coke myself) and your own PV-preferrably a Buzz or an Infinity but ANY will be fine ! Bovina -would you bring the homebaked goodies? Mike -you are in charge of the music. 5card- hope you'll be here to administer the oath. I would expect some of you to bring a good wild game dish with ya BUT PLEASE no snake !!! Can someone find the popcorn too? Almost forgot, Wharf you can bring my monthly contribution with ya if it would be easier than sending it to me this month !

Hopefully my Infinity will have arrived before that but unfortunatley its looking like a busy weekend so decided to wait until Monday for the offical celebration.

WOW- My Infinity package got processed at 10: 58 pm this evening at the nearby USPS processing facility- it did make it 3000 miles in 24 hours - so its now sitting 30 miles from my house. If they managed to get it on the right truck it will be at my local post office at 7 a.m. tomorrow morning when they normally deliver the days mail, Decisions- Decisions- do I wait patiently for normal delivery of my mail at 3 pm tomorrow afternoon in my mailbox or do I stalk the post office when they open at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning and plead for my package before my mail lady takes off with it in her car ?????? By the way I am now the 3rd to the last delivery of the day if I wait for it to get to my mailbox. Hey, I have no problem with pleading !! LOL

Yep, I was at the post office when they opened the window at 9 am. To get my package at the post office instead of waiting until they delivered it to my house I only had to promise (1)that the next time the mail was delivered late I would NOT complain nor (2)would I complain the next time a piece of my neighbors mail got put in my mailbox OR my mail got put in my neighbors mailbox. LOL They knew there was a package for me but hadn't made it through the packages yet so the girl took the time to dig through ALL the packages just to find mine for me. I do OWE her !!!!

Now, do any of you realize how well the package is sealed???? Had a heck of a time opening it while sitting in my car cause I couldn't wait until I got the one mile back home to my house LOL Got it opened, put the batteries in, screwed my atty/cart I'd brought with me and vaped before I drove home !!!!!! HEAVEN on earth!

Congrats! That was akin to my first PV story, only I wasn't as safe as you . . . I opened it/put it together while I was driving down the road.

You've got some good postal workers there! I wish ours were that nice. Ours tie their shoes to each other with 8" laces, and I swear they are walking in maple syrup 2 feet deep! Our carriers are much nicer though. Might have something to do with showing appreciation to them with cards and whatnot.
