If you're reading the microcoil thread by supx, I highly recommend that you start reading from the very first post to get the feel of how microcoils started out. DO NOT START from the middle or end of the thread and work back. You'll see lots of sub ohm micro coil builds / hybrid builds. Try those only after you understand your equipment. Just throwing this out just in case.

Just got it last night and washed it. Will try my first coil tonight man.
Meh. 1.8ohm using a pre-cut wire (ok I'm just being lazy). Flavour is fantastic, TH is tad powerful but vapour was meh meh meh. Why ah?
I'm using a kumiho a9 rda. 3mm silica wick folded into 2 and 4 wraps with the above stated wire.

something to do with the precut wire i guess, had a similar experience with that.
PT with a diamond coil build is like one of the build i would like to master some day. = D
Yeah. Blame my lazy ..... Should have just start off with kanthal. Anyway, recoiled another one and so far so good.
Not worth the effort. There is only so much you can do with a PT.

RDA is like the next in line thing I want to get now and I get to build more type of coil to try out too!
When I started vaping. I hated every single thing about a tank system but was still not so knowledgeable about rebuilding. The only advantage that it has is that it holds more juice so you do not have to constantly drip/refill. On the RDA, it brings so much more convenience and advantages. Be it flavour, vapour, cleaning and drying. Absolutely hate cleaning and drying the most.
