Ok here's a question for ya, I notice there is a battery that came with my passthru (ICR10440P 320mAh). And I was curious if it needed to be replaced could I use a higher a mAh battery? I saw a few as high as 2200mAh and was wondering if they were compatible.

As long as it's a 10440 it should work, though the protected ones like Shawn sells may not fit since they're a bit longer.

And don't believe everything you read about mahs!

What's interesting is the atomizer doesn't get as warm (to the touch) as it does with the regular battery.. So I'm wondering here if that's a voltage issue or a current issue? Will have to get my meter out see the voltages if they are the same I guess I know what the problem is...

Some people have reported some problems with the passthroughs with an inline battery, but then that's true of every e-cig product.

I've been using mine about a month (practically all day) and it works great. The atty gets just as hot as with the standard manual batts and if anything it vapes better. YMMV.

I have the same unit and the same battery, AND YES... I agree, it does NOT get the ATTY as hot and is not as strong. the voltage is lower also.(SUPPOSE TO BE 3.5v, but i get changing #s 2.5-3.1v) But thats alright, as my real plan for this unit was to increase the power to my 510 (5volts) and still charge it using the USB... So now we have a battery case connected to a wire, were set to do a easy mod now...

I have been considering modding the usbpass-thru in some fashion or another, I have a few ideas I'll have to pick one I guess. As is it just don't hit right for me which sucks, but I will make use of it somehow or another.

Just got my passthrough? Got a question????? Do you have to let the battery charge a little before u get good vapor production?
