drewdav,

All of the above my friend! I am a girl and I don't mind one bit about the looks of the unit, only that it works for my needs. (I smoked over a pack a day) Those little ones that look like analogs just didn't do it for me. There are a lot of people who like them though and to each his own!

edited to add...in all fairness I should say that the 2 analog style kits that I've tried both came with prefilled carts and I did not like them at all. I didn't keep either kit very long to be able to give more of a review. I searched out this site and went straight for what everyone seemed to be using and loving. Thank you ECF!!

I've gotta say that I love my eGo! I also love my 510 PT and my Rivas. All three produce plenty of vapor for me and the battery life on the Rivas and eGo (which is a 900mah) is phenomenal! The battery life on the PT doesn't count because it plugs into my computer and it's always available. I use Mega attys, carts and cartos with the eGo and Riva, so I've always got plenty of juice! As far as looks? My eGo is pink, the Rivas are black, but that doesn't mean I can't decorate them!

The eGo and its clones vape like a 3.7v device (well, 3.2v actually). There isn't a significant difference in how they vape. The big plus of the eGo and its various clones is increased battery capacity. It's a real pain trying to keep your 510 batteries charged. The eGo battery is a big improvement, but a 3.7v mod that uses a real battery (14500, 18650) is a bigger improvement still, and will give you a true 3.7v depending on the mod.

Granted I'm still fairly new to all of this. Based on the research I've done, the only difference is the battery life. The Ego still uses the 510 atty, but just has a battery that lasts quite a big longer. If I am mistaken, I'm sure one of the more tenured users will be quick to correct me :)

If you take off the cone, yes, that's the only difference.

The cone alters the airflow, and can give warmer vapor, and a bit more of it.

The battery life of the 510, however, is frustratingly short. If you have a few extra bucks to spend, it's worth getting an eGo. It really isn't that big.

The eGo is just better all around. I don't think it's awkward at all...I think it's cool looking. The vapor, TH, battery life...everything is better....more consistent. The best hit is when you're vaping with a full battery. The bigger (eGo) batteries last a lot longer....or seem "full" a lot longer. Therefore, better vaping. The 510 batteries....the first few hits are great, but as the battery is dying (soon)....the hit goes down. eGo rules. Truly.

I own both the eGO and the 510, when i first received the eGO the size did seem different and i thought it would be quiet weird to hold. But after about 4-5 hours of constant vaping, I was convinced that the ego is that much better in terms of battery life. Havent touched my 510 for a while now since the eGO is not only reliable but seems to feel better in your hands once your use to it because of the Black grippy feeling on the ego from Happy Vaper.
