I own a Joye eGo and have learned a few things that I hope can help y'all. I would suggest using a Low Rez Atomizer and a drip tip. More vape! I hate the cartomizers that have the foam in them. They just last a month then start having less and less vaper. Now the Low Rez will begin to do the same as my theory is they build cake on the coil. What I do is soak the atomizer submersed in rubbing alcohol for a couple of hours. Then I use one of those air cans that are for cleaning your keyboard off. I spray in there with a tissue on the other side, then turn it around and do it from the other side. All this brown stuff comes out. Next I let it sit for a hour so the alcohol all evaporates. The first time you use it after this cleaning process you may be a bit frustrated. It wont produce as much smoke as you want. Be patient and keep vaping on it. Once do the the first or second filling of juice it should be ready again and smoking at about 95% that of a new one. I have had the same Low Rez Atomizer now for 5 months and it's still going strong using this cleaning system. This process can save you a lot on new atomizers every month.

You're doing great! You might want to switch the rubbing alcohol (poisonous) to the drinkable kind, PGA or cheap vodka. Or just rinse the rubbing alcohol off real good in hot water before using. Great cleaning advice.

I have an eGo brand PT as a backup and it's been fine with a LR atomizer. Even the super-hot 1.5 ohm LR 306 attys fire like a champ on it. When you do need to replace the batt, they're not expensive. I'd suggest a KGO fat batt (bigger version of eGo) for higher voltage (3.7 -4.2v) and longer batt life (1100 mAh). They don't carry the warning about not using LR attys/cartos. Hoosierecigsupply and Breezesmokes (.com) sell them. Kgos don't come in PTs though.

Hoosier is liquidating his E-Power supply. Too many issues. Saw them yesterday - $15 for the bare bones kit.

I'm with you. There's nothing as satisfying as dripping on a LR atty :)

An LR atty will shorten the lifespan of eGo or Riva batteries.

I've been using nothing but LR on a few eGos and Rivas for well over a year now. In my experience, it doesn't seem to affect them. I don't have anything against the E-Power other than size and the inconvenience of taking it apart to charge batteries, though.

I guess I'm tiring of being an 'early adopter' of the latest-greatest ecig supplies. I don't get the hoop-la of the e-Power and admit I have not used one. But I have used the batteries that are in them and they don't hit as well as a Kgo, even the 18650 big ones. I pay about $20 a battery for my 3.7v Silver Bullet batts (black label AW 18650s 2900 mAh and AW 1600 mAh red labels). They're great batteries but more expensive than a Kgo batt that offers higher voltage (you can find Kgo batts for $14-18). I'd rather have 2 PVs than one with two flavors loaded for less than one e-Power. I could totally be missing something. I suspect people with e-Powers are having a good vaping experience. They have the familiar look of a Kgo/Ego/Riva with a changable battery. Not bad, just different tastes in equipment.
