That's a pretty good review, a lot of great info for newbies in particular imo.

I hope he's wrong about the 18650 though, can't stand them personally. I think I'll hold off until someone opens one up.
Agreed. I'm surprised not a single reviewer has made any comments about spitback, though. Similar issues with the Cubis tank were also never adressed by reviewers.

And what's wrong with an integrated 18650? Would it function differently than an integrated LiPo battery?

Yeah, most reviewers seem rather positive in general. Not sure if that's because they don't use a device long enough to discover the flaws or that it is because they are getting them for free perhaps

I haven't seen any mention of the glue of the window coming off neither besides from you.

Idk, I just don't trust myself with that battery. I think I might be careless enough at some point to blow my face off or set my house on fire, lol

Lipos are far more volatile than IMR/hybrid chemistry 18650s.

So in other words my fear of 18650s is misplaced and they are in fact safer then the build in battery in my Evic VT?
The Evic VT battery is probably good, and it has been specifically chosen to suit the mod in question. But yes, your fear of 18650s is misplaced - though you have to make sure to get the right 18650 for the job.

Hmm, interesting...that could put the Pico back on my list...

I have looked in them a bit and know which ones are approved, but the risks that occur with overcharging and draining them too far scares me a bit.

I guess the risks could be limited with a single 18650 that's charged in the mod as long as the mod has the right protections. Do most current single 18650 mods have protection against draining your battery too far and overcharging?

I'm not a high wattage user so that's not one of my worries.

Yes, regulated mods have overdrain and overcharge protection. However, instead of charging 18650s in the device I'd strongly recommend getting a quality external charger. Multiple-battery mods really aren't any more dangerous than single-battery ones - in fact quite the opposite as the drain on the batteries is lower at the same wattage - you just need to marry the set(s) of batteries used and not use them separately.

didn't see this mentioned anywhere, does the mod charge at 1amp or 2amps?
was thinking of the wrong mod so reference to review removed... It's highly unlikely that the Cuboid Mini has 2 amp charging. Very few mods do.

I'm afraid I'm too careless to keep track of married sets so I'll definitely stay away from anything that uses more then one 18650, also because from what I gather people have been charging those in their mods with mixed results.

I do have a Nitecore D2 that I use for my flashlight's RCR123A bats but I just hate having to swap out batteries more then once a week or so that's kinda why I'm limiting myself to in-mod-charging.

Yeah, I know, I'm an odd- duck :)

Ordered a cuboid mini (just the mod) yesterday. Will be my getdowntothebeach mod :D Now I just need to find anything good/smallish to put on top of it :)

They have beaches in Sweden? I always run straight to the forests when I'm there ;)

Check out the Bachelor Nano, 2ml and superb flavor.

The first thing I noticed about this mod is spit back. I've changed the drip tip and the issue has resolved itself for the most part. However, the coil (I'm using the RBA) will continue to fire after the fire button is released. For me, this is the most annoying part. I also noticed that it is difficult to chain vape this device. The reason is the coil gets too hot and the liquid (100% VG) starts to burn. I can vape the same wattage on another device and its fine. Even when I drop the wattage down it still happens, so it runs hot.
