With a 2.4 ohm coil it will deliver around 5 to 6.5 watts so you'll be in the ballpark. The atomizer resistance determines the wattage, being a mech type mod.

Just tested a 2.4ohm coil on 3 eGo ONE batteries. The two 1100 mah batteries sagged to 4.6v and the 2200 mah sagged to 5.9. These things have some mean sag.

Thank you both guys, much appreciated. Carnage, did you mean 4.6 volts or 4.6 watts? I thought this battery had a max voltage of 4 volts

I plan to get one of these for my Kayfun, even though the diameters are different. How much difference in height between the two versions?

Watts, yes sorry. Put ohms law to it and the voltage sag is pretty big.

Sorry but I am not familiar with voltage sag. Does that mean I will have problems using this battery with a 2.4 ohms atomizer? I am currently using this atomizer with a variable mod at around 5-6 watts. ( A relatively cool vape, but I like it)

I would really like to pick up the 2.5 mil topper, but the mixed reviews give me pause.

Nothing ventured nothing gained, all new vape stuff get neg. reviews.
Sure there may be the odd QC issue(return it) but my guess is it's mostly user error
by folks new to vaping or not finding out how to use it prior to purchase.

Example...Experience tells me that if I leave any device like this(basically a clearo) in a high heat environment or in the sun, IT WILL LEAK, it's the nature of them. A newb blames it on QC or a bad design.

Many reviewers are EXTREMELY picky too, it's there job to find fault. I take exception to the ones that say, for example...
It's a pain to fill
if not done correctly it is, sure. But who can't figure out how to tilt the tank on a 45, put the dripper on the threads and let the liquid roll down the sides into the tank?
I mean c'mon! Some people just don't like topping up.

If a person likes small and stealthy along with good performance, yeah they're gonna have to get over topping up regularly.

Everything we use requires some compromise, and we need to use it ourselves to decide if we are willing to compromise where necessary to receive the other benefits each device has to offer.

Sure there are better tanks out there depending on your needs and style of vaping.
It is staying in my rotation, haven't had 1 bit of trouble with it(that I recall)
But that's just me, find out for yourself if you like what it has to offer enough to overlook and deal with it's shortcomings. Each to their own. Certainly some folks just will not like it. That's cool.

We have a huge amount of choices nowadays, there IS something for everyone. (somewhere) Cheers.

I like the 1.0 ohm heads a lot, but they are good only for mouth to lung inhale. 0.5 heads i don't like that much. They have just a really thin piece of cotton around the coil and don't last very long (for me, at least). Can't wait to try the rebuildable one.

That said, i really like that little tank and wish there were more like these. Seems like everybody wants a 10ml tank nowadays...

I have been using iStick30+NautilusMini for couple weeks now. I was searching for a smaller kit that can give similar feeling like NautliusMini. I was walking by a vape shop today and couldnt hold myself and decided to give this beauty a try. Even with 1ohm coil and tight airflow its not enough throat hit for me. Is there a way to get better throat hit from this?

Hi Guys,

another noob here. I usually vape a mini Aerotank with a 1.8 ohm coil at 10 watts and less. I bought the Ego One due to color and size and in the hope that I would get along with it. I received it today and the 1 ohm coil with tight airflow is still sooo strong that I only take short hits. Is this what is causing the tank to flood and gurgle? What is the highest ohm coil, I can whack into it? I read somewhere 1.5, is this correct?

It should have come with 2 coils, 1.0 ohms and .5 ohms, each is labeled as such. Make sure you have the 1 ohm coil installed, the .5 coil gets pretty poppy and vaporful!

Gurgle? Not sure about that. I don't really get gurgle, mine seems to wick damn well with the .5 coil. Try the 1 ohm coil with the air-control opened a little, see if that helps with the harsh hits.

Hi,

that is exactly what I did. I used the 1 ohm coil and did not open the Airflow far BUT it is still too strong for me and I think that the gurgling and flooding is caused by my weak draw on the topper! I just cannot handle that much vape:) Since I really, really like the look of the Ego One, I would like to try and make it work for me. They are bringing out the rebuildable base and I was wondering if it is OK to use a 2.5 ohm coil in the tank, so I can draw properly and therefore will not have gurgling or leaking issues.

I popped a 2.5 ohm carto on it for five minutes last night and that seemed to have "worked" but I would prefer to get the tank to work.

Thank you for your support!

More air over the coil will cool down the vape and produce more vapour.
It's a different beast compared to evods and other clearos.
Without good airflow it'll get real hot.
Technique needs to change a little to get the most out of it.
The draw needs to be a little faster and shorter when starting out.
It is just different...in a good way, if one can adapt. Cheers.

I suggest a longer drip tip. It was way too hot for me originally. The glass should be cooler also. What i did was get a clear drip tip insulator and attach it to the glass tip, problem solved. For me anyway.
