YAY!!! So glad you got it all working. Cool little mod, isn't it?

I love my STM on it!!! I can add a little dash of color and dress it up!!!Thank you for that
Yes it's size is great, and with the STM or Crown on it looks really good as well!
I was already waiting weeks on a TC version of the Ego One.
Since I got in touch with TC my 2 non TC ego ones were collecting dust.
Now I finally got a TC tube mod, great for daily use on the way.
Yep, if I can use it without screwing up, ANYONE can.....lmaooooAfter my trial/review of it, i pif'd it to a smoker who had never vaped before.....and he is using it with zero issues....a testament to just how easy to operate it really is.

It selects wattage output based on resistance range [emoji14]
I finally worked it out, not sure what I was doing wrong before, but it's working great now.
Great vape, I'm a happy camper now with my VT
Well... My Kamry 18350 X6 Plus arrived. 18 Days in transit from GearBest.
The Mod: Looks Great. Good Build Quality. Nice Fit and Finish. Great Size, 60mm Long.
The Tank: Good Build Quality. Easy to Fill. 3.5ml Capacity. Airflow Ring is a Tad Loose, but Not too bad.
Do eGo ONE Coils work in it?
No. Not Out of the Box.
The eGo ONE Coils are Exactly the Same from the Threads Up. Same Diameter. Same Length. Everything is Same - Same. From the Threads Up.
What is Different is the Contact Plug on the Bottom of the Coil. It is about 3mm Long than the eGo ONE Coils. It is Also has no Air Hole on the Bottom. So if you Screw in an Ego ONE Coil, the eGo ONE Coil Doesn't Make Contact with the 510 Pin in Tank Base. And the Kamrr Contact Plug didn't fit into an eGo Coil.
So here's what I did...
I poked around in the "Bone Yard" Box of Old Hardware looking for a 510 Atomizer Pin that was Longer than the one that came in the Kamry Tank.
The First Atomizer Pin that I checked, a Kanger Subtank Nano, was Much Longer. Cool! So I plugged the ST Nano Pin into the Kamry Base. Things are were looking Great!
Screwed in an eGo Once Coil. It Didn't seem to push the Pin out. (Wow, this is going to be Easy). Popped the Tank on an APV Mod and hit the Power Button. Nothing. "No Atomizer". F#&@%^* !
What's Going On? That ST Nano Pin should have been Long Enough. In fact, it should have been Too Long. Hmmm?
So I took everything apart and then it Dawned on me what was Going On. The ST Nano Pin was Long Enough, but since the eGo One Coils have a Hole in the Bottom of the Contact Plug, the ST Nano Pin was just going into the Coil. And Not Making Contact.
LOL
OK... A Little Set-Back. But then I though... "What would happen if I Flipped the ST Nano Pin around so the Big End was inside the Tank Base. And the Small End was poking out the 510 Connector?"
So That's what I did. And it Worked! Kinda.
Now I could feel that the ST Nano Pin was making Contact with the eGo ONE Coil. But there was Too Much Pin sticking out of the 510 Connector. Dremel Time!
With the eGo ONE Coil screwed in, and keeping the ST Nano Pin from push into the Tank Base, I Dremeled down the Length until it was Sticking Out about as much as Any Other Atomizer.
And Guess What....? It Worked! It Worked Perfectly.
I'm hitting on it as I Type This. And it Works Great. No Leaks. No Ohm Fluctuations. No Runs. No Drips. No Errors.
I wonder if I am the 1st Person in the History of the Known Universe to use an eGo One Coil in a Kamry X6 Plus Tank?
LOL
--------
TL/DR
So to Make a Short Story Long. This Kamry X6 Plus Tank can use eGo ONE Coils if one has a 510 Pin which has a 3.2mm (or so) Diameter Shank and is at Least 8mm Long. That, and a Dremel and or a Small File.
So I Can't Recommend this Set-Up to Anyone wanting to run eGo ONE Coils in it right out of the Box. But if you have a Longer 510 Atomizer Pin, and like work on things like this, there is a Good Chance you could get it Going.
... I think this thread is more specific to the variable temperature function of the ego ONE VT/CT kit... Ease of use, accuracy and overall performance. A little of topic here, the ego one coils is pretty simple and universal... I won't be surprised though

Maxwell saw my pics of mine, went and looked it up, now is curious to try. I'm such a bad influence on my son.....lmaooooIts great to see the market expand with devices suited to all types of vapers. Someone want an affordable device that is plug and play user friendly, but still has a decent output...you found it here

Hi Guys, I know this thread is old, but hoping that someone can help me out with this Ego One VT.yepper, kinda auto detect power output
instead of a ‘spinner’ , Joytech replaced it with a ‘smart’ chip
I really like my 19 x 86 mm / 2200mah / USB
that I can put a .5Ω topper on (sub)
then in the next hour screw on a 1.6Ω topper (tootle),
and enjoy both from ONE (pun intended) device
this makes me feel comfortable to look into getting the eGo ONE VT / CT units also
I enjoy the feedback all have posted

Hi Guys, I know this thread is old, but hoping that someone can help me out with this Ego One VT.
My current setup for the longest has been a Vision Spinner with 2.8Ohms ViVi Nova ST and 50/50 - 6mg juice. Voltage set typically around 4.5V and probably equates to about 7.5 - 8 Watts.
I'm traditional in that I do Mouth to Lung, tried doing straight lung, but just can't do it.
Just purchased this Ego One and it is just harsh. I tried the 1 Ohm coil and cough and gag, the sub ohm ones, while great vapor cloud, still gagging.
Any recommendation on what I can do, looking at Joye info, looks like I can get a 7.5W output with a coil between 1.6 - 3 Ohm and low temp. Should I be vaping a lower mg?
I would stick with my spinner, but the ViVi Nova is becoming obsolete and not sure what to do, driving me crazy.
Thanks Puf, I did some additional reading and I'm about order some Ti wire and cotton along with CLR to build my own and go from there. Might be the way the coils sit vertically as well on the stock ones, so going to build and do horizontal. Any suggestions on any other atomizers that might work on the Ego One that might perform better? Will look into a longer drip tip as well. Many thanks for the response, will let you know how it works out.kinda hard to pin-point from afar;
sounds like you’re running TO HOT (for you)
all the factors in play
juice-coil heat range-air flow-watts
TC mode only for TC Wire (NI & Ti)
so you are using Kanthal coil in Watts mode ??
suggest 1.5Ω>
open air flow to Max
longer drip tip
different juice
lower Watts

Sorry, but Noob question please as I've never done a rebuild and understand the difference in wires. Should I be using Kanthal wires for the VW on the One or does it only support VW with Ni and Ti wire?kinda hard to pin-point from afar;

Thanks!!!!not just the ego one, but all TC devices...
Kanthal is for WATTS
Ni & Ti is for Temp Control mode
not to be mixed

The CLR is way better than the CL. I had the same issue with the stock coil frequent dry hits and a hot vape. It did much better after rewicking though. I'm still using the same CLR head for 7 months rewicking twice a week and recoil about .9ohms with kanthal when needed. Thanks Puf, I did some additional reading and I'm about order some Ti wire and cotton along with CLR to build my own and go from there.
