No, I don't own a GS Air M or MS. I bought an Ego One tank to go with my Ego One battery. I was responding to this post
I have tried my GS Air on the Ego One battery and it's a much cooler vape. It vapes fine, much like running it on an istick at about 9-10 watts. I believe that the M and MS are very similar to the first GS Air since they use the same coils. The M and MS are 19mm and the first GS Air is 18mm so it doesn't look as good on the Ego One battery.

The M or MS should fit perfectly.

I have a natilus, nautilus mini, subtank mini and a genitank on the way. And I guess all will work well with ego one battery. The sub mini and nautilus mini will look good on it I guess.
The ego one tank with 1 ohm coil has been a dissapointment so far. It gurgles, spits, lets vapor out of the air intake slits, overheats (almost burned my lips) and produces harsh vapor. My guess is that too much codensation and the short distance between the coil and drip tip is to blame. I tried it on a regular ego battery and it seems a little better. I didn't try the 0.5 ohm coil yet.

So far as the Subtank Mini goes, its a 22mm device. There will be a good bit of overhang on the Ego One. But you might want to consider the Subtank Nano. Someone earlier in this thread posted a pic of the combo. Looked pretty sweet.

In the three+ weeks I've had one, I haven't had any spitting or gurgling issues as some have mentioned in the thread. Perhaps there is a production inconsistency in the early stages of coil manufacture? However, I have had the "second or third chain vape hit on the verge of dry" situation a number of times pushing 70 VG and above.

With that being said, it may be worth mentioning at first I was a bit obsessed keeping it fully charged most of the time. (micro USB's abound in my habitat) I discovered that just letting the battery discharge under normal use, it happened with much less frequency. It actually does have great capacity. I've never seen the life indicator flash fast.

I believe the engineers at Joyetech had quite the challenge making this tiny (short chimney) li'l guy perform as good as it does at subohm, or even 1.0 ohm levels with the broad discharge rate of an unregulated battery.

My understanding, though it may be incorrect, is that the battery reads the resistance and fires accordingly. It might be that some batteries are misreading the coil's ohmage. Just a guess though.

Totally agree. Gotta love that battery . Hate the tank so far.

At first, these were my (hopeful) suspicions as well. But self sensing "semi regulation" was debunked. From what I understand, the ohm sensing is merely part of the built in safety features.

Well. I did finally figure out what was wrong with my tank. I took it off and noticed that the coil head was partially unscrewed from the base. Assembled it and took it off again and I still noticed that the head is partially unscrewed. It seems that it tends to unscrew from the base while attaching the top to the base or adjusting the airflow.
So, I tightened the coil head to the base (really tight), and assembled it again, and it works like a charm. I still get some gurgling (less than before), but no spitting, no harshness, no vapor or liquid leaking from the air intake slits.

That is good news!

I have noticed the coil unscrewing out of base scenario happening with more frequency, and have some theories on it that I wont go into here. But lately just prepare myself that it will happen and proceed accordingly. It's seems like a relatively easy quirk to deal with. When it stays in the tank portion, just gently push to side to release from chimney, re-tighten down well on base, ect.

Was about to throw my pack of 0.5 heads to trashbin, because none of em wicked my 40/60 with One battery.
After poking em a bit with needle they started to work flawlessly.
It seems the wickingmaterial was packed a bit too tight.

Your right about that. I just rebuilt a clr head and the wick was stuffed in that little coil. You really have to want to rebuild that little head. 5 wrap 26ga 3/32 diameter came out to .5 on my vs. PITA to position and get the legs trimmed. I used half the wick that I pulled from the factory head and left a little more tail in the tank. So far no dry hits at 20.5w max vg. Seems to have more vapor now and the flavor is still great. I'm going to chain vape about 2ml and see if it leaks or go's dry.

Did you try the .5 contact pin mod yet?
Sorry for the lag, holiday weekend in these parts, then a catch up day. Tried the switch, and I'm impressed so far. definitely a tighter draw than the .5 coil all the way, but seems like it's better than the standard 1 ohm coil from the box. When I get around to it, probably this weekend, I'll do some back to back testing with all 3 styles and see what's what. Definitely not going through the juice as fast this way!

Hm, so I've been using my Ego One for a while with the subtank nano mostly since I couldn't get the draw I like with the One tank. I decided to try the tank again today, old coil that was in there was flooded and old so I replaced it with a new 1 ohm coil and put on a new drip tip. Seems like I'm finally getting a decent mouth to lung hit, before it the fully open air was still tight for lung draws and it hit kinda weird when it was closed tight as well. I'm really interested in these CLR heads, I'm not much of a rebuilder but I've been doing it more recently. Do I really need a pack of 5 coils though? I mean, if you intend to rebuild, then one of those atomizers should last a while unless you have several tanks right? Also, can I rebuild with regular kanthal wire or do I have to use nickel or whatever?

Seems like I always try to jump on the rebuildable thing whenever its available for tanks that had disposable coils, but then I never really do much with it.

I suppose the 5 pack is okay for the times where you just need a quick new coil and don't wanna rebuild at that moment? And of course as stocking stuffers for all your friends with Ego One's! :p

Ok, is it horrible that I'm on MVS site for these coils and I'm drooling over the Coolfire IV mod?? But hey... the Ego One tanks can still go on them!

Friends that vape? Lol! Let alone vape on a One. Maybe virtual stockings on this site?

Probably not any worse than me wanting some of those Ni/Ti coils to cannibalize the gold contact and colored o-rings off of.
